I’ll start by saying that I was a huge fan of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 1, so much so that I told myself I had to visit Czechia someday.
The opportunity came earlier this year, right as KCD 2 was being released, almost like a sign of destiny, since I was literally flying to Prague at that moment.

I spent seven months in the country: four months in Hradec Králové and three in Liberec.
During this time, I had the chance to explore many beautiful places : Prague, Brno, Plzeň, České Budějovice, Pardubice, Jablonec nad Nisou, Písek, Trutnov, Litoměřice, Náchod, Jičín, Turnov, Český Krumlov, and many others I’m surely forgetting to mention.

I visited countless stunning castles, hiked through the countryside, met amazing people, had tons of fun, and enjoyed plenty of great Czech beer.
One highlight was visiting Trosky Castle, and another was attending the medieval event in Kutná Hora, where I met the Warhorse team and chatted with some of the developers, wonderful people as well!

I also took part in several medieval events and a few metal festivals, including Metalfest, Brutal Assault, Death Coffee Party, and the Wacken Battle final in Prague (Refore ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rules!).

Needless to say, I loved every moment of my stay. Czechia now holds a very special place in my heart.
To the Czech people, I just want to say: you are truly wonderful, and your country is absolutely amazing, rich in history and full of heart!

When I finally returned home, I couldn’t wait to play Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and wow, the game did not disappoint. It’s an absolute gem, polished to perfection!
The world is beautiful and immersive, the story and characters are incredibly well-crafted, and I was completely engaged throughout my 173 hours of playtime.
The gameplay is fantastic, and I didn’t encounter a single bug!

All in all, it’s a true masterpiece, worthy of every bit of praise. Even better than the first one, KCD 2 is easily my Game of the Year 2025 and one of the best games I’ve ever played in my life.

To Warhorse Studios, I say : you’re well on your way to becoming industry giants, and I can’t wait to see what you create next!
And to the Czech people, expect me to return soon to explore even more of your beautiful country.
