Big fan of survivor games but this one isn't clicking with me.

Feels unbalanced, tedious and too reliant on luck.

Trying to maintain the desired attack pattern is obnoxious, especially when the only options deviate from your direction and even ruin your build. In this genre, you would usually craft a wacky build with some degree of control over it but here it's like you're forced to adapt to what you're given, otherwise you tend to fall behind on damage and currency.

Most items have a mix and match of situational conditions with different damage types, something like dealing a critical hit with corrosive damage will deal additional curse damage.

Burn, curse, corrosive and blast damage types...
No idea if there is any additional effect that differentiates them other than labels.

Tarot challenges are 'picked' blindly with the objective to either kill all enemies or survive. Some of them even nullify your build or are near impossible if you were not given enough damage options.

For example, 'The World' challenge keeps throwing rows and columns of enemies at you with very little gaps. All while you can't attack and your movement speed AND vision are decreasing to null unless you use the ability to stop time briefly. It usually spells the end of a run in my case, especially when playing the Lovers with two hit-boxes.

As it is, there's no choice to be made, why even offer to pick a card, might as well skip that process. Shouldn't the player know which Tarot challenge they can choose if it is unlocked?
