Very enjoyable game, so much to do. You can make it easy no fuss or you can set goals to get things done by and make it more challenging. Farming, animal husbandry, friendship and family, mining, fishing. You can even ride a horse!

I love this game and it is so addicting. I wish I just played better, however, even losing a lot is fun when you play STS!

I am not quite done with the game just yet and I do like it However, I don't find this game as good as the last two games. In fact I am disappointed in this game, I was so excited to play game three after the first two. I couldn't wait for this game to come out.

First off, it's too easy, no difficulty levels now. It makes the game even shorter. And for me the no timer makes replayability non-existent. This entry in the series seems a lot more bare bones , although I really like the addition of the glare slider, wish this feature was added to the other games.

So unfortunately I barely recommend the game, I was very close to giving it a thumbs down. I really hope the next entry is much better. Series entries 2 and 3 were much more enjoyable with a higher production level for me. I guess I will be reloading the last game or two to get some challenge.

I have had this game a number of years. I play it for awhile, take a break and come back to it. Unfortunately one time I took a very long break, only to find my progress of making it into the master level had been hit by lightning in the cloud and destroyed. Oh well, on to getting back to where I was.

So now with 70+ hours into the game I have to say this is one of my top fun, minimalist games I have. I mean there is only two buttons too learn, a simple map to follow in the campaign game. But, the skill it takes to be a truly great player means you have fingers or thumbs of lightning. Your eyes are quick to count enemies and see weapons. Your determination must be pure of heart!

There are two modes to play as you begin, levels (campaign) or survival. In levels there are three skill levels of which only student level is open. You must complete student level to open master level and master level to open grandmaster level. When you start levels, there is a rather large map with each level marked as a circle. Each level has it's own type of fight. Mob, boss, speed, defender, smash and nunchaku, to name some of them. These types can control how the fight will be competed, but the main goal is the same.

The object of play is to defeat incoming enemies by either pressing left or right buttons on controller, mouse or keyboard. But, you can only kill an enemy when he is in the "zone" that is shown beneath the playing field. If you strike to early you will miss and if the enemy is close enough he will be able to hit you and decrease your health. If you don't hit him before he gets close enough he will take a health from you. Remember don't spam the buttons, efficiency is key, only hit the button for the number of enemies in the zone or you will be punished. Along the way you will run into new types of enemies. A lot only have one health, others have 2-4 health and some special enemies may take many, many hits to defeat. When you finish a level you will be judged on your fight by how many misses you had as well as how many hits taken and be awarded the following medals bronze, silver, gold and the ultimate in perfection, platinum. You will also receive a score as well. Making the game replayable to better your medals/score.

Also as you play, you may find yourself doing very well, and think it's too easy, but the game adjusts to your skill and ramps up the speed until you aren't as good as you thought. But have no fear the game will also lower to your skill, too.

Survival mode also has three levels which you must unlock just like Levels mode. In this mode the fight doesn't stop until you use all your health up, then you game is over.

As you play you also unlock skills and skill slots. You can have up to 4 slots to be able to activate 4 skills. Skills can give you weapons or make weapons stronger, or affect your enemies speed or health. Your play style will affect what you choose, but as you learn levels picking certain skills for certain levels will become a tactic to use to help your progression.

The graphics are very fun and as you play you will see many different animations. The music and voice overs are also very martial artsy, very befitting this fighter. Watch out for those flying eyes and kidneys (donations anyone?), the impalings are great, too!

Achievements are really based on your skill level so you may or may not be able to acquire them all. There are some grindy and tough achievements to be sure. OFDP is great action/arcade/fighter game with a minimalist approach, I highly recommend the game. It's fun in short or long doses and can give lots of play time for a modest amount of $$$.

Small update made.

The second of a series of five games here on steam, Salem Witch Trials is a very enjoyable classic HOG game, with good HOG scenes as well as some fun puzzles. The artwork is very pleasing to the eye and makes for great atmosphere. The sound is good as well, all keeping with the theme/atmosphere.

There is one major, but fixable, problem with the game, the achievements do not work unless you peruse the forums for the game and find a thread about how to get the achievements to work. It's fairly easy and should be a quick fix.

Most of the achievements do not unlock until you have finished the game. There are also two Easter egg puzzles built into the main game. Bonus game achievements are included in the 14 total achievements, too.

With a very good story that you can keep track of as well as the atmospheric graphics I highly recommend this game as well as the series, I have played 3 of the 5 so far.

Numgeon is a casual bite-size rpg, that also doubles as a clicker that can refine your hand eye co-ordination a bit. When you start the game you play the game as a Noble Knight who will go dungeon crawling and will battle monsters by way of board of numbers below the graphics of the game. The goal is to click on the numbers, that are randomly placed, in order 1- whatever is needed to kill said monster. You get some coins if you are lucky enough to leave some numbers when killing the monster. Coins that you can use to buy things at stores you find in the dungeons. There are special colored numbers in each grid that build up mana points that you can use once you fill the mana point bar, by using a special ability when clicking the right mouse button.

As you travel through each dungeon there is a map shown if you click the small pause button on the upper left of the screen. It will show your advancement in the dungeon as well as a mission that you will want to complete to receive a coin that is used in a special slot machine before you start each play through. You can get many nice items that will help your journey or maybe something not so nice. you will meet a few different enemies as well as find treasure chests that you can open with a key or try to pick the lock if you are not lucky enough to have a key. Among the things you can get from an open treasure chest is, potions for health and mana, food for health and coins. However you may only carry one item at a time.

Accumulating XP is a key for sure as you have to get leveled up to gain a permanent bonus to skills like offense and defense. You will also run into a shrine and be able to sleep at a campground, which fully recharges your health. When finishing an area of a dungeon you also get to pick a perk, of which you can have up to 8 collected.

Being quick with your number clicking is entirely key. The game helps you out a bit as the fight does not start until you click 1, so you can peruse the number set up and form a plan of attack. The goal for the end game is a bit different than your standard RPG, but I will leave it for you to find out what it is. LOL no spoilers!

The game has two more characters to play through the game with, Mighty Sorcerer and Silent Assassin, both of which you must unlock. You can also unlock color palettes to customize the color for your game screen. The music is appropriately medieval for your journeys. Just remember it takes a bit to build your skills to make it through the last dungeon! If you have made it through the game on normal level each character can also be played on hard level, too. Recommended to old school game players. Great for small play sessions.

This game has become one of my favorite games to sit down and be challenged as well as being able to have a relaxing game at the same time. Another easy to learn game that really provides a challenge without overtaxing your brain.

The premise is to match 6 sided pieces of varying make ups, including: water, railroad, forest, houses, grass and field, as you are giving one piece at a time to match onto the playing field. You can rotate pieces to fit them together with an already placed piece. You do have a limited amount of pieces to start a regular game but you can add back to your total by completing quests. Trying to get a high score is the goal in a classic game.

As you play a game another goal is to build out to a piece that is away from the main starting area, doing score gets you score and special pieces to unlock. The game has seven modes to keep you occupied with a change of pace. A tutorial is first, then classic, creative, quick, hard, monthly and custom. The tiles can be customized to certain looks with the use of biomes, which you unlock as you play. You can choose what biomes you want to appear in a game.

This game is really a no rush game, you can take your time as much as you like to find the best location to place pieces. You really have to way the pros and cons of piece placing as getting perfect placements can get you big scores but you have to continuously complete goals/quests done to keep getting more tiles.

A great addition to the game is the awesome music, you kind of lose yourself in it as you play. Very original, and enough tracks to not get bored of any of them. I now have to talk about the art style, it's AWESOME! It fits this game perfectly and is conducive relaxation. I just love the little animations that begin with some of the tiles when you place them.

This game is highly recommended if you love strategy/puzzle games that let you work your brain while also relax. You will be spending many hours blissfully gaming with Dorfromantik.

I really have begun to love these old school FobTi games! I'm in the process of collecting most of them. Great pixel art is included with Animal Up. You start out with an animal in your arms that you must "toss" up to the level above yourself, to stay ahead of the flooding coming up from the bottom. It's fairly easy to start but things speed up and timing get thrown off. Once you get an animal to the top you have saved it and than you go on to level 2. But, like old school games were, when you lose it you lose it all and have to start over.

Fun and challenging for 10-15 minutes at a time. I recommend Animal Up to old school game lovers, or if you are looking for a quick arcade style game that you can pick up here and there for some fun size entertainment!

I did receive this game for free but was not asked for a review.

Find All 2: Middle Ages is a straight find the object game. Find All 2 is like the first game only a lot more scenes and things to find. It will keep you busy awhile. As in the first game you have a picture of three types of objects to find of varying number. Once you find all of an object the picture will be replaced by a new object. As you find objects and complete an area the area will color in.

You may think this an easy game, but some of the objects can be quite hard, and to get the timed achievements you may have to play through each scene 2+ times, as the artist is quite clever hiding things. This game is really good for a memory work out with 100+ objects in a lot of scenes.

This Find All only differs from the first with a couple of things. First, there is a few small puzzles involved in the game and second there is also a whack a mole game included. I didn't mind the extra small puzzles much, but considering how nice it is to play the search all game working your brain and relaxing, the whack a mole is a bit jarring as it is more hand-eye co-ordination along with using some reflexes. The achievement for scoring 50k points in the whack a mole game can be tough to get and a bit frustrating. Not that I hate the whack a mole game a lot, but it just didn't fit being with the find all game.

With the music and relaxing feel of this game along with the brain workout it gives you for memory, I highly recommend this game.

I am very glad I stumbled across this game as I found it to be cute, fun, simple as well as challenging. It is however, very short. If you love a pure find it game without a story and puzzles, this is the game to grab and chill with.

You start the game. With a black and white scene and three different objects of different amounts of each to find in the scene. Once you find, for example 5 butterflies a new item appears. As you find the items they will be colorized. Eventually, when you find all the items in a particular section, the whole section will be colorized and no more items will be in that part of the scene. Once, all items are found the whole scene will be a beautiful picture. You will have to scroll up, down, left and right to find all the objects.

The game does turn into a challenge but, in a good sort of way. If you are thinking by the look of the game that you will find everything easily, think again as the artist is very clever! Highly recommended and worth every penny and more.
