Incredible and amazing fireworks sandbox with TONS of mods of real fireworks (Funke, Xplode, Gaoo, Jorge, NICO, Weco, Argento, Albert, Lesli etc.), nice maps and tons of possibilities to build your own fireworks coregrahpy with cakes, shells, rockets and stuff

Mafia: The Old Country (MTOC) earns a solid and fine 6,5 of 10 from me, but it is not the great comeback I hoped it would be.
The actors a great, the Don Torrisi character really hard carries the game with his presence and great narration.

Other than that MTOC is a game "on rails" where you finally can explore after the epilogue. It's a fresh experience after so many open world games, but your roaming and exploring is limited and you are really forced to progress how the devs want you to progress. And the story may be too short for others.

The UE5 experience is weird, I had 95% usage with a 5090 and 9950x3D, thats absurd.

If recommend waiting for a sale.
I will still keep on playing it for the achievements, but - again - there is not a lot to explore and find beside some collectibles and unlocking optics for Cars, Horses and Clothes.

Game breaking bug in the Career mode: In the Objective Validation milestone for January 8th you can't progress anymore if you did not get enough race confirmations for the quarter to meet the sponsor objectives.

There is no way to skip this and no way to undo this, so I can't continue anymore and the whole savegame with all the hours is lost.

This is a serious design flaw and a "do not buy" warning from me.

This masterpiece is a gift to all gamers.
Clair Obscur Expedition 33 belongs in the Olymp of gems like Baldurs Gate 3, Elden Ring, Death Stranding, Witcher 3, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and Cyberpunk:
The artwork, art direction and setting are the amazing, I never played in a greater and more beautiful crafted world. Every area has it's own design, own story and feels distinct form each other.

The Soundtrack is fantastic, the music fits perfectly.

There are some quirks tho: After some time the battles might get a little bit tedious until you are completely overpowered.
And I feel the map needs markers to show how many places you visited and how much % of stuff and secrets you finished.

TLDR:
Still this is a 10 of 10 from me overall.
I haven't witnessed such an extraordinary gaming experience very often in the last 20 years,
The design, the mechanics, the superb music and soundtrack, the voice acting, the characters, and especially the storyline: Everything here is either almost or completely perfect.

Clair Obscur really surprised me as I never thought I would enjoy it so SOOO much.
I had tons of hours of fun with it and I’m happy to see such passionate project getting the recognition it deserves.

I will continue with a New Game+ some day!

This fiasco of a game had 16 (SIXTEEN !) "hotfixes" in 2 weeks. 👎
So that is proof that this game still is in an early beta status if anything.
I encountered two bugs within the first 20 minutes of playing, the joypad functions are not implemented properly and fully and I could not even close the game.

So I have to get a refund and check back in some months after the game left the early access state and does not force the players to do the playtesting.

I just finished KCD2 and only bought this out of appreciation just to support the game, the devs and the studio.

After 121 quests i finally finished KCD2 with almost all side/optional quests as well.
This is a really great crafted adventure.

There were some things I did not like:
There still are a few bugs, you find reused NPC assets/models/faces very often and the AI is behaving and moving stupidly sometimes. The first Trosky part felt a little bit dragged and some quests were annoying of felt like wasted time .

But that does not change the incredible experience I had overall, because almost everything about KCD2 was great:

The immerison and atmosphere, the character stories, their development, the world evolving and changing around you, the smallest details you thought the devs did not think about; it is truly art you experience, and this art may be different for everyone depending on who his playing it and how you are approaching this game and certain taks and choices.
.
There were funny moments, creepy moments and so many hours I could not stop playing this because the storyline completely caught me and because some of the characters and some quests lead to the best immersive expercience I had in gaming the last years.

Thank you Warhorse studios for KCD2, it gets a personal clear 9 of 10 rating from me.

8.0 Rating and a must buy IF...
....if you are a Robocop fan that likes the lore and characters.
The fact that they literally got Robocop himself, Peter Weller from the movies, back as voice, face, and mocap, is a level of detail any Robocop fan could only dream of.
You can feel throughout the game that it was made by fans of RoboCop for fans of RoboCop.

"Only" 6.0 Rating for a solid experience and worth it in a sale IF...
...if you don't care about the Robocop universe or setting. It's an above average story shooter then with lots tons (maybe too much) of dialogue, lots of walking simulator quests and some dragging of the story.
It's way behind the production quality of Cyberpunk but still very good for an AA title.

Sniper Elite 5 was way more fun than I expected it to be.
There is no doubt Rebellion really put a lot effort into Sniper Elite 5 and it shows in well thought out modes and mechanics.
The game offers well designed maps and levels, a somewhat deep weapon customization system and satisfying gameplay with lots of entertaining ways to kill the enemies. You habe many different opportunities how to start and how to end the missions, and each different approach is fun in it's own way.
I sometime even had some "Hit Man" Vibes.
The story and character development still feel too underdeveloped, making every mission blend together in an unending series of contextless kill cams and sometimes cringe voiced oneliners.
But if you don't care about any of that then you will still find a lot to enjoy.

8.5 of 10 for me
