Pristine, unsynthetic raw fun, and very deserving of a steam award

This is a great game and all, I really was waiting so I can grab it and play it, looked awesome... well, it is but not quite on the pc. This is a horrible console port that has plenty of malfunctions on the PC as I've seen in plenty of sites out there, the one that bugs me the most is the 30 fps cap, and commands on the launcher don't work, so it's useless.
I know people can stand 30 fps but the reason for a gaming computer is that games run faster, better looking, and quality over a console, and in this case you can't appreciate that.

I don't recommend getting this game for PC, unless you want to search for a fix. If you own a console of any kind, try this one out though, I still think it is a great game.

Alright, now that Apocalypse is out, I'll try and do my best to create an elaborate review of Black Ops II.

Let's start off with the campaign, I found it was kind of good in some ways, I mean it is really good, with a pretty decent story and the addition of you making the choices of getting a different ending, but I found that the characters didn't felt that good like it did in Black Ops 1, and as for a sequel story, I didn't like many of the old 20th century missions, there's probably too many of them in my taste, and in a mission with Mason, there's the "numbers" again, but that was just bad..

You can ride a horse, do a wannabe RTS things here and there, get to fly a jet, make your decisions on different events of the campaign, I think they're actually stepping up their game.

Multiplayer: Ooh boy this is the hard part, with success always comes the haters... As for the gameplay I found it was very fluid and smooth and the maps are amazing, with these "new" graphics. One reason I pick Black Ops and Black Ops 2 over the Modern Warfare Series (Excluding MW1) is the colors, this may sound weird, but indeed these games have clear colors, and bright ones too.
This game is like my pick and play if I'm in a good mood, since everytime I play I feel like I achieve something with the level system, or trying to get gold weapons, which is a pretty good system to get you busy for a long time.

Zombies: Alright so I'm a fan of Zombies in Call of Duty, in this one I could clearly see they were going for something different: TranZit, which was the worst map in my opinion. When on the bus, power station or going from one place to the other in the fog, the game has a slight chance of Crashing, and also the fact that not many people play in PC, I should've put this in the Multiplayer bit too, trying to find a match in Zombies takes around 10 minutes but don't get too excited if you find at least ONE person to play with, since the maps worth playing are HUGE, and there are quitters all over the place. I would recommend getting a friend to play with. The stock game comes with 4 maps, Tranzit, Bus depot, town, and farm, each one being a place in Tranzit as a stand alone map. These maps are boring once you've played them a lot, but No one plays Tranzit, because everyone plays Town, so the stock game in Zombies is really bad.
As for the buildables, I loved the portable engine to power up stuff, the Zombie Shield I never saw anyone use it and it is on all maps, which is the worst thing they could've kept for all maps...
As for Grief, No one plays it, I never played it, I didn't like it either, I rather play zombies in a coop way.

Revolution: I liked it, got it when it was coming out, 4 original multiplayer maps, a new Multiplayer weapon, the Peacekeeper which I used a lot, a very good zombies map, Die Rise, really felt like CoD Zombies.

... Oh and a new gamemode, wow I even forgot that existed because no one plays it, so I never got to play it, although the idea sounded pretty good, as for you turning into the zombie.

Uprising: Amazing Maps, a remake of Firing Range, a classic from Black Ops 1, and Mob of the Dead, probably the best zombies map in BO2 by far. Sadly, no new weapon or anything fancy.

Vengeance: Probably the only reason that I have to get it is the Cove map, everything else doesn't look convincing, and Buried looks too easy. I didn't get it, but my call is to wait until it goes on sale.

Apocalypse: Maybe the only reason to get this is Origins, a really fun map, although hard, but learning everything hidden in origins is quite the job, and I really like it. Only thing I didn't like is the combination of steampunk robots in a 1918 era with also the templars, just wasn't too good. As for multiplayer goes, 2 reused maps, not apealing, but I didn't have stadium from Black Ops 1, so that only makes 1 reused map, which isn't a big surprise Treyarch got lazy at the last DLC...
