Reviewed the game for the tasks.

This game is obviously going to "steam"roll the awards competition.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wanna make a statement
Cigarette on forehead, face on pavement
Got a cell-block in my basement
Exorcising tyrants with the dawn that's breaking
Turn on lights cause the stage is set
Blood is warm and my face is wet
Hands are full with the lives I've wrecked

Hit 'em with the slaughter that they won't forget, huh?

Watch your throne fall, napalm, ashes and slivers
It's the death knell knockin' and I'm here to deliver
With the riot shield crushing through the gates you erect
Why you screamin' ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thought this wasn't a threat?
Thought our contract was good, that betrayal's theoretical
Cold sweat, nightmare, with the red reticle
Now the bodies around me, say your word's not worth ♥♥♥♥
Call your favorite agents, Imma teach you to quit

Yeah, tyrants better run, better run.

Pros:

+ Great art style - reminiscent of WipEout
+ Great physics - a lot of inertia when you steer at high speed and through jumps
+ Sense of speed
+ Strafing/drifting system is good - there's a decent learning curve on how to take corners without losing speed
+ VR feature!

Cons:

- AI don't suffer ram penalties
- Difficulty on AI at the most hardest is a coin toss, you either get it easy or unbeatable
- Unbeatable AI has some sort of that perfect racing/pathing line
- Buggy map, especially when landing through maps or weird clipping below the track
- Few maps (excluding DLC)

Pros:

+ Each level is short (1–2 minutes), making retries feel quick and encouraging rather than frustrating
+ The Weapon/Charm system is excellent - you can experiment based on your playstyle or the enemy you're facing
+ Simple Mode is available for newer players
+ Gorgeous art style and soundtrack
+ Game progression feels fair, no sudden difficulty spikes
+ Parry system
+ Hitboxes/iframes are tight and well-designed

Cons:

- King Dice is the most tedious boss fight
- Parrying is required for a higher rank
- No coyote time mechanic :(

This game is leaning more to bullet hell than platforming, I didn't expect that.

Pros:

+ Tons of activities and content across different sports disciplines (base jumping, skiing, snowboarding, wingsuit flying, etc.)
+ Beautiful and highly detailed open world (Gold Edition includes three large maps)
+ Decent replay system
+ First-person view
+ Decent physics engine

Cons:

- ALWAYS online requirement
- Clunky controls (expected when cramming multiple sports into one game)
- Lacks a proper tutorial for paragliding
- Poor navigation and confusing UI
- Wonky checkpoint system

If you're a snowboarding purist, you're better off playing Shredders - it has superior physics and a better trick system

Great game, what I like the most is how Watch Dogs 2 encapsulates early 2010s Silicon Valley tech scene and the internet culture with a satirical/exaggerated twist. Being in SF is a bonus, such a vibrant city.

This is a stark contrast in terms of atmosphere as oppose to the gritty/mysterious Person of Interest inspired Watch Dogs 1, which I also like.

Sifu-lite.

The only bad thing is the camera - it can easily ruin your run.
