You may surprise me
hung
on the crumbling edge of the neverending precipice
of fantasy.
Or crouched
on the flamboyant parable that surmounts it
intent on sculpting and carving transparent,eternal
harmonies
with crystal clear consistencies.
And then catch a glimpse of me,
as in a faraway and indistinct dream
among luxuriant magnolias and tamarisks,
near phosphorus-colored shores,
in the streaked blue-green waters
aboard a white piano,
intent on translating the foam of the waves
into music.
I am the pilgrim of lost causes,
who still seeks refreshment in Beauty,
drinking from the placid and harmonious sources
of Truth and Justice.
The dreaded celestial flash from which the dimness recedes
and hides,
in which all darkness escapes remaining engulfed.
You will learn my name by proving to be worthy
to know it,
my music will come when you are ready to understand it!
I am also the shimmering and iridescent rainbow
that rips and lights up the plumbeous sky of boredom.
The tireless alchemist and dawdler genius,
herald and synaesthetic sentinel designated by the Second Art,
from which I draw every virtue;
oppression, mockery and flout
with which i crush funny glances of fake oracles,

the Eternal Wanderer!

Potresti sorprendermi
appeso
al lembo traballante del precipizio interminabile
della fantasia.
O accovacciato
sulla parabola sgargiante che lo sormonta
intento a scolpire e a cesellare armonie trasparenti
quanto eterne
dalle consistenze limpidissime.
Per poi scorgermi,
come in un sogno lontano e indistinto
tra rigogliose magnolie e tamerici,
presso litorali color fosforo,
nelle screziate acque verdazzurre
a bordo di un pianoforte bianco,
dedito alla traduzione in musica
della spuma delle onde.
Io sono il pellegrino delle cause perse,
che cerca ancora ristoro nella Bellezza,
abbeverandosi alle placide e armoniose fonti
di Verità e Giustizia.
Il temuto sprazzo celeste da cui il buio retrocede
e si nasconde,
nel quale l'oscurità tutta rifugge rimanendo inghiottita.
Il mio nome apprenderete dimostrando d'esser degni
di conoscerlo,
la mia musica giungerà allorchè sarete pronti per comprenderla!
Sono anche l'arcobaleno luccicante e iridescente
che squarcia e rischiara il cielo plumbeo e fosco della noia.
L'instancabile alchimista e genio perdigiorno,
araldo e sentinella sinestetica designata dalla Seconda Arte,
da cui traggo ogni virtù;
oppressione,scherno e burla
con cui anniento sguardi buffi di oracoli fasulli,

l'Eterno Vagabondo!
