It's a free open source game engine I'm not sure what else you could want.

Space is cool, Krakens are scary.

This game is pretty good. The UI could use some work- maybe using number keys to spawn units, instead of clicking on their portraits?- and a tutorial or more descriptive stats for the units would be nice. Other than that, this game makes a neat addition to its genre, and the soundtrack is amazing. I haven't tried the Dark World campaign yet, but I'm looking forward to it. Oh, and if anyone wants to play the multiplayer with me, let me know!

Good game, awesome mods.

I've probably gotten more out of this game than any of the major, big-studio games I've bought. Combined, even. I've played it since before it was on Steam, during the early Alpha days, and it's the game I made my first mod for. I owe Tynan, the developer, a lot.

This game is great, especially for a free to play.

This game is fun as hell.

It's a really fun competitive game, but the ban system is a little weird. First, I got several twenty hour cool downs for every two games I won. After that, i found it that you can be banned for voting yes on vote-kicks. Not calling them, just for voting yes. Other than that, it's great.

This is a solid game, and when I'm not solidly destroying all my friends, we have loads of fun playing.

I totally recommend this game, even with how old and outdated it is. The real reason I wrote this review, however, is to give a fix for the lack of community content in the steam version of the game. When launching this game through Steam, a great deal of replayability is lost because community content is disabled. HOWEVER, you can use the product key from your Steam purchase of this game to Origin (google it if you don't have it), and the community content will work. This means you can use the Steam deals to get this game for MUCH cheaper than you can find it elsewhere, and it won't have any repercussions. I recommend you not install it using Steam, because Origin will use it's own install, but do purchase this game with Steam.
