An interesting examination about how the simple act of deciding changes the world and how all parties manage to make those changes together, through the lens of a cheeky visual novel that begins on a simple premise. Abby Howard's art is great as usual, and there are plenty of funny silly times to balance out the philosophical heaviness that comes with the progress. The super spoilery areas sure do use some big flowery words and prose that can get over-the-top though, whoo wee. Even if you are someone who prefers to do without all that highfalutin sort of thing in your stories, there is some fun to be had from just opening doors and poking things to see what happens. If you don't like visual novels and high-story-low-game-mechanic experiences though, get ouutta heeeeere, this aint gonna be fun for you!!

Unavowed is a very well-done point-and-click about supernatural happenings in NYC. it has plenty of mechanics in place to allow for multiple endings, multiple choices, and multiple solutions to the puzzle, which is a great experience. Giving you team members to talk to for ideas on how to progress helps alleviate any frustration one would have as well, so no worries about that common P&C issue. I'll definitely be interested in giving other Wadjet games a try in future after this!

This is a great game if you love Japanese horror aesthetic and randomly-generated content. While I think it lacks the real satisfaction of a purposefully-crafted horror story , it was enjoyable to see what neat designs for spooky things popped up at every draw. Combat does get pretty samey, and certain mechanics hard to understand with little context, but there's tons of ending and achievement-hunting to be had for those who like that sort of thing.

A cool horror point-and-click that also draws from queer experiences and anxieties. It's a lot of fun exploring the building and the various logs left around. Stuff is intentionally confusing, due to the story's nature of memory manipulation, but still manages to bring it to a solid end.

Pretty cool design and mechanics, not too difficult at its base, but plenty of ways to increase the challenge if yo're interested in thet

Good for Picross, Good Ace Attorney-type visual novel. Unfortunately some menu windows have no exit or cancel option, like the credits or the save menu if you wanna exit without saving. You notice the little UI problems here and there.

great game, fascinating mechanics but takes tons of time, don't play if you're looking for something quick or simple. great for people who love solving puzzles, finding secrets, and exploring.
