WHY THE F*** THERE ARE ADS IN A GAME I PAID FOR?!

Now, with that egregious atrocity out of the way let's get to the point. It's not a bad game from a technical standpoint. It's just your run of the mill, old-style GTA (GTA1 or GTA2) clone set (vaguely) in Middle Ages. The gameplay is solid but the utter lack of innovation and limited scope of available interactions make it nothing to write home about at best, or a pile steaming, boring horse excrement at worse. And while the latter is not a comparison I'd use in any other case, it's most apt here since (apparently) feces are what the creators of this game consider peak comedy. Yes, the "feature" that seems to be the most prolific selling point of this game - humour - is where it fails the hardest. Now, I'm not gonna lie - I'm not the man of most refined taste in comedy and, I admit, I've smiled a few times while playing this game. However all those times must have been in like first 20 minutes of playing since after that even to me the everpresent toilet humour started to be more of a burden rather than a relief. A relief from what you might ask? A relief from bland, uninspired story and the aforementioned repetitive gameplay. All there is to the game is a boring loop of "go to A, do some fighting, maybe return to start" bound toghether by a story that seems like written by a "rebellious" second grader who figured out they'll stick it to the man by squeezing word "poop" in every other sentence of their essey.
One thing I have to compliment on is the soundtrack. While it might not be fully to my taste and some tracks I found absolutly abhorrent, it provides an interesting take on trying to incorporate gangsta-rap vibes into a midievalesque soundscape. I guess you could also consider a pro that it's a rather short game, so you won't have to endure this cesspool for too long if you desperately want to see the end credits roll. (In my ~11hours I've managed to beat the main storyline, all sidequests, grab all collectibles and at least try all of the minigames [which are just more of the same boring stuff])

In short - if you enjoy toilet humour and dated, poor memes; or are a hardcore fan of the (top-down GTA) genre you might find a couple of hours of amusement in this title but I still wouldn't recommend it at a price higher than $1. In any other case you'd do yourself a favour staying the hell away from this product.

Now honestly that one's a real diamond in the rough. The game is really fun and what it does well - it does well. However it's the shortcomings that turn it into a literal piecie of crap. To start off the art direction is awesome and it conveys the feel of Warhammer wonderfully. Unluckily, you get a single tileset per act and the level generation is so awfull you feel like running the same location all over and over despite characters telling you that you're visiting different ones. Then there's the bugs. For 10 hours that it took me to beat the game (In coop with a friend) I got about 40 crashes to desktop (with a lovely message that the "Game will crash") and about the same ammount of instances where after finishing the quest and returing to town the NPC that we'd need to talk to to finish it would simpy refuse to talk at all. Luckily all needed to fix it was quitting to main menu and getting into the game again... Next is the story. Well, it's simple, cliche maybe even boring to some, but I found it quite engaging and more than adiquate for that kind of a game. After all you don't play Hack and Slashes for the story but for the action of the gameplay. And the gameplay is really what shines here! It's juicy, it's satisfying, you feel the hordes of mobs you slaughter and there's a weight to every boss! That is as long as you keep the difficulty crancked. The skills are varied and fun but the progression is too fast. Simply becuase we were determined to beat this game (despite all the bugs) we've dropped the difficulty to normal around the act 2/3 and spend the last couple of acts mostly dashing past mobs yet we've still managed to hit the level cap of 50 early act 4 and finished with 20-something Legend (it's like a post level cap levels...)
All in all I had a blast but I'm sure it's not for everyone. If it wasn't for the constant gamebaeaking bugs I'd gladly go for a rerun. Either with a new char or maybe just grind some extra content with this one. If you're a hardcore fan of the genre and don't mind fighting with the bugs it's worth taking it for a spin (at a steep discount) but other than that I'd recommend giving it a pass.

I really wanted to like this game, and maybe I could have but you know, first impressions matter. And my first impression is of utterly broken matchmaking. Why on my first game I'm put against prestige players who sunk hundreds of hours into it?! I cannot have fun if I have barley any idea what I'm doing and no items/perks on hand while every other player has a legendary loadout and a perfect strategy.
If you wish to spend a few hundred hours failing matches to players whom you should be never put against due to the difference in your skill level you might find Dead by Daylight entertaining. For me it was not a pleasing experience and I don't plan to return to it in the future.

A nice take on the tried Warband formula. It's similar enough to make you fell comfortable but at the same time different enough to twist your tried Warband strategies 180 degrees and give you a fresh and entertaining gameplay
