Great software, super fun to create with. 10/10, this program is my own personal hell.

This game's taken a lot of crap. And I get why. The RP and story elements don't compare to NV, or even 3. But getting rid of the relative comparison, the game is still a pretty engaging experience. Besides the early game, which is a bit of a slog, the game is definitely replayable and the settlement building adds an interesting dynamic to the fallout series, and the 3-pronged story conflict is definitely still engaging. Where the game excels, however, is in its combat elements. A lot of it plays like a destiny-style looter/shooter, with pretty smooth combat and a variety of enemies to keep the combat fresh and smooth. As an FPS, it's definitely one of the better contemporary releases in the genre. The combat and settlement building definitely helps make up for the deficits left by the story/rp elements. Overall, not a bad game. Would still recommend to fallout fans and noobs alike.

Amazing RP elements. Timeless story that's aged like a fine wine. There are a million different ways to play through the story, get immersed in its world, and just to enjoy it. Fantastic story, character customization, skill building, NPC interactions, and a variety of fascinating lore to shovel through. It's the peak of what a Fallout RPG should be. One of the all time classics for sure. The only problem I have is that the combat isn't as smooth as more contemporary releases, but for the time it's still absolutely workable and enjoyable, and it doesn't take away from the game's legend status. If you haven't played this game, play it right now.
