Amazing replayability, cool artstyle, simple yet satisfying combat and a good story.
Somehow developed within 7 weeks.
This is the greatest game ever created since MovieStarPlanet.

10/10 Could banter with parasites again

This game has a fluid rock, paper, scissors like gameplay (soft weapon counters) with smooth and responsive movement.

The skill ceiling is nowhere to be found
this is a cry for help :(

There are squares within a box and they are battling, truly the best arcade game since moviestarplanet.
10/10 would trickshot the homies again.



P.S Don't tell Feesh but you can create cursed circles in this game >:]

- After Arrowhead's "60 day plan" (it became 63 days lmao) both the enemy and weapon/stratagem balance is in a much better state then ever before.

- PSN account still isn't required to play on steam.
- PSN is still not available to roughly 120 countries across the world.
- Xbox port is still unknown.
- Player count is back to 35-40k average on steam (up from 15-20k).
- Arrowhead is looking at more ways to interact with the community:
* Streams.
* Community votes/polls.
* In-game dev to player communication.

Current state of the game: 8/10
(excludes opinion on PSN requirement since I personally play on Steam)

I recommend getting this game if you are on the fence of buying it, there has never been a better opportunity to get into it.
I recommend coming back and trying out the new changes if you are still interested in the game.

Forcing an uneccessary system (PSN) on an already fully functioning game is ridiculous.
"For safety reasons" yeah like i would create an account on a game i can already play without issue, for a company that had most of their users (and/or employees) data stolen multiple times in the past 10 years.

Game is easily up there with Deep Rock Galactic as one of the best Co-op shooters and Helldivers developers seem to really care about the game and goes the extra mile to make the community happy.
But for the forseeable future i cannot recommend this game to anyone unless sony changes their mind about the mandatory PSN account just to boost their quarterly account metric.
Sony, Helldivers 2 deserves better than this, these types of games are very rare and need to be given the respect they deserve.

You know, this game is pretty fun and all but theres one thing.. When you play salvador and try and go against a raid boss they just instantly die for some reason. It's almost like they don't even want to fight.
