Post Completion Review Update,
TLDR: Great Story, Good gameplay, though does have its issues feeling a bit puzzly at the time plus has a few difficulty spikes, good visuals and music. Probably my personal game of the year.
Can reccomend if you like games such as Fire Emblem.

Reverse Collapse is quite a enjoyable and fun game in my experience, I found myself highly enjoying the story and lore collectables. Personally I think the story is probably the highlight of the game for me. Some story segments ranging from minutes to even 2 hours. I find it hard to talk much about it without spoilers but will say if you have played GFL (Girls Frontline) or (Neural Cloud), you probably have a remote idea what to expect. There are some dark moments so if that is not your thing, the story may not be what you like. Despite taking place in the same universe as other Mica games, there is no need to play GFL or NC for those who dont like mobile and or gacha games to understand the story, though references will be missed.

The game is DECENTLY voice acted, at least 50% but not fully voice acted. The music is also another highlight of the game for me, something that didn't feel like it overstayed its welcome and had quite a variety throughout all the story/game. Translation overall seemed to be good but had a few issues where lines wou
ld be bro
ken up like this mid word, though the devs appear to be aware of it and likely attempting a fix hopefully soon.

Gameplay/Difficulty wise I personally played on Challenge+, which is Hard Difficulty and also limits the ability to save mid game, only having checkpoints at predetermined story moments which could be only 1-3 turns, or 10+ turns apart, or a temporary save when quiting to menu.
I would personally recommend if you are interested in the story and dont have the time or will to endure frustration to not pick Challenge+, there was times when I would have to reset a level after 1h+ when realizing there was a massive mistake i made that made finishing or S ranking hard/impossible. There are a DECENT number of levels/segments that feel more like Puzzles rather then normal SRPG segments and those can get quite frustrating. Sometimes almost feeling like the only way to know what to do was to fail and restart.

Overall I would say I highly recommend RC to people, great story with enjoyable gameplay, may not be for everyone but can always see for yourself what you think. The devs seem to be trying to improve the game further post launch with fixes and other improvements. I would personally say well worth the ~$20 on sale/$25 off sale price. I'm hoping more people can find and enjoy Reverse Collapse also.
