Tactical, silly.

Bizarrely well thought out.

A game I owned for over a decade that I played largely offline with friends has just had content patched out of it, including pieces of an artbook.

I'll be asking for a refund, but more importantly, who asked for this?
I don't buy games on Steam expecting them to have altered contents ten years later after the original creators have left the company.

Minimalist, pixelated (Doom-style) Thief set in a much more modern context.

If you like stealth games you owe it to yourself to play this one.

A much needed breath of air for the stealth genre.
Light, sound, environmental noise level, differential floor noise and night vision all collide to make the most comprehensive top down stealth games I've ever played.

With basic crawl/stand, several layers of move speed, a voice lure and vents to dodge guards and cameras you won't be short for tools. Particular shout out to a temporary EMP device to use on electronics, something that hasn't been seen since classic 2005 Splinter Cell games. Firearm realism fans won't be let down either, reloading an extra round in the chamber is fully supported as well as one of the more extensive approaches to ammo management and a researched catalog of weapons to match.

While the game fully supports a loud, aggressive approach and even rates the player on how many shots were fired and how many guards were alerted there isn't a "perfect" approach: later missions are simply too well fortified to be done without distractions, although nonlethality is always supported outside of mandated objectives.

The only complaints I can formulate are in regards to missions feeling samey and in need of variety (you'll get used to warehouse aesthetic and the color grey/brown), as well as a narrative that I feel is mildly contrasting if one goes with a nonlethal playstyle.
A strong disclaimer must also be made that the game does have at least one hard mandatory break from stealth: Stealth purists may not like this but it only truly falls into this for one and a half missions.

I can safely say this is one of the best indie stealth games to come out in recent years and a beautiful urban commando simulator if you're looking for it. If you're a fan of the stealth genre, whether for purist or more lethal reasons, you owe it to yourself to check this game out.

Short, sweet and replayable.
Fairly easy once you realize how forgiving the mechanics at play are.
Incredibly solid atmosphere for such a small project and very interesting use of powers.

Practically demands a replay!

A simple, straight forward showcase for both beginners and experts to enjoy in the first person stealth genre: Immersive and fair but challenging stealth, great sound design and a highly polished in design level make for a replayable experience worth more than the free purchasing price.

This game very easily raises the bar for the stealth tag on Steam as a whole and is something I can recommend to anyone looking into stealth or Unity development as a showcase of the medium.

Good luck buying this game.
Better luck getting the controls to work properly!
