The game is what I'd consider mediocre for the price. Pretty barebones but you can get some entertainment from it. If you really want to 100% complete it though, it's a test of patience, having to probably do 40 hours of pure tedium and RNG just go finish the final objectives, which is why i'm going to give it a not recommended.

Fun number goes up game. If you enjoying grinding in the game and don't really have anything else to play Umamusume is a game to pick up. Essentially infinite stamina with progression (albeit really slow and really RNG).

Probably don't play Umamusume though if you are a variety gamer who actually wants time to play other games.

A pretty fun game well worth the price. The builds and skills are on par of what I think of for usual turn-based games like this with a good variety of build diversity. I dabbled a bit here and there but ended up using a build that I felt was extremely strong and didn't feel a need to change it afterwards. Balance-wise though I think it was overall pretty good regardless. Exploration is similar to what you would see in a metroidvania and the game makes it easy to 100% the areas.

I'd consider it a pretty good cozy horror game. You're not going to ♥♥♥♥ your pants playing this game but the tension is there. The story felt a bit complicated; I'm not sure if everyone will understand it. I think I understand most of it, but I could also be wrong about my understanding.

Overall, it is a walking simulator; you can die, but 90% of the times it's obvious and easy how to not die (also the punishment for dying is miniscule). Decent puzzles, but the optional puzzles can really be difficult. It has an enjoyable story, and doesn't outstay its welcome. Probably 5-6 hours to complete, 8 hours for completionists if time to value matters to you.

Another game with one more turn syndrome. The campaign has been pretty fun, and I enjoy the difficulty of the AIs. It's not completely perfect, but the AI is at least good enough that it's frustrating to play against them. The storry and events are pretty good, but nothing special.

The level up upgrades are RNG, and I think that some upgrades are SIGNIFICANTLY better that others, as in that you can progress 2x-3x faster if you get them. Something that critical should either be guaranteed or nerfed, because people's experience with the game is going to heavily change based off what they get. And let's just say, having half the econ you're supposed to kinda sucks. We're talking about 100 tiles of resources vs 40 just because of two RNG upgrades.

Overally a 7/10. Mostly because these upgrades are the difference between zooming through the game with ~4 well built armies vs 1 or 2 well built armies.

Someone every time I come back to this game, there's even more bugs than before. Hopefully one day the devs can take some time to actually fix the bugs instead of releasing BP and broken updates.

Like who designs a map, where you can enter a part of the map, but then you can't get out?

Has everything you would want in an Ace Attorney game. Great trials, a streamlined investigation portion, and strong plots for each case and the meta one. I think the game gives enough clues beforehand to figure out the gist of what happened before the trail starts, however it could be due to some awkward wording where I feel like I'm not sure what to present, but it could also be me not connecting the dots in some case.

The translation is pretty good. For a text heavy game, it should be amazing, but it's hard to expect more out of a pretty indie dev. However there are some text, especially in the final case, that are untranslated. Those untranslated lines are mostly filler texts, but that's still a negative.

Overall, a good game with a strong story line to keep my interest all the way through. I think this game is well worth the price since it has as much content and I would say plot/puzzles/cases as good as the Ace Attorney series. Like mentioned before, you can tell the translations aren't professionally done, but I think they were fine. If this game is not enough, I also suggest Murders on the Yangtze River, which has a different presentation, but still pretty similar.

Great story, soundtracking, and gameplay. Balance is a bit off in the later parts of the game and the UX for selecting passives could be better though. Overall though, one of the best games I've played in a while.

It's been a while since I've played it but decided I should write a review. The gameplay is great. I enjoy games where that really pushes your build and tactics to the limit (it may have changed in future updates). All characters have a good skill-based build and an attack-based build. I may be a little biased here, but I am a huge fan of on-hit and pumping as much damage on hit as possible, while many other games of similar genre generally favor casting and using skills instead (it's like whether you enjoy playing mage or evade rogue in DA:O).

Additionally, there are some encounters that favors mobility, others that favor sustain, stalling, etc and since you can back out of a fight whenever, you can always change your build to fit the circumstances, but the best is to create a comp and build that can handle all of them.

Overall, really happy with the difficulties of the encounters and team/build synergies. However if you're the type of person who wants to play games a bit more casually and not a huge fan of min/maxing, I don't know if the other parts of the game will hold your attention well.

I'm not the type of person to care too much about the story in games, so I'd rate it as hit or miss, but I didn't think it was bad.
