Performance is too bad for me to recommend this. My PC is about 3 years old (i9 12900K, RTX 4080 Super, 32GB of RAM and running Borderlands 4 on a PCI4 SSD), but still top of the line and has no issues with any other game.

Even with some of the settings turned down, DLSS enabled (on balanced) and frame generation, there are still instances where I'm getting sub 40FPS. If I was playing native 4K, I wouldn't be surprised if I struggled to hit 15fps!

The game is ridiculously demanding for the quality of graphics etc - maybe Gearbox will be able to optimise it in time but right now it's not something I can recommend, given the £59.99 price!

With regards to the game itself it's Borderlands, you know what to expect at this point. I've yet to finish the game, but honestly the story and characters is somehow worse than Borderlands 3, there are graphical glitches (try using Amon's action skill and watch as the camera freaks out) and obvious bugs which were somehow not picked up before launch. The open world is detrimental and the more linear levels of previous titles were much better.

Also, whilst we're at it, can we please do something already about how everyone is always gushing over your character being a vault hunter - it's been an annoyance pretty much since the series started, anyone can be a vault hunter (you want to open a vault, congrats you're a vault hunter, even if you've never left Sanctuary), it doesn't mean anything! If your character had actually opened a vault and made comments to this effect, then it'd be much less annoying.
