Positives:
Very Good game, imo the game uses a lot mechanics from world and improves them. I also like the sort of reworked wapons, especially the Katana.
I also love the mapdesign and graphics, its very pretty to play and so is the character customization.
Another Positiv Point is game design and the Amount of new Monsters, the fights are enjoyable and feel quite epic.]
The storyline is imo also better and deeper than in Worlds, but---

Negatives:
-- the story is very short, which is very sad. I really didnt take long to be finished with the story, even tho i farmed every armor set I liked.
Which brings me to the next negative point, the armor sets are the same in high and low rank. Its so dissapointing to get into highrank fighting mainly the same monsters only again and also only getting the same armor sets. It kinda takes away the excitment to farm an armor, after just farming the excact same one in lowrank.
Another negative point about the armor imo is that the armor sets of the mh world monsters are the excact same, but for also only the highrank ones. I was so excited to see odogaron again to farm his armor, only to see that its not the masterrank one.
In general the whole armor thing just felt a bit lazy, its not giving me the urge to grind, like monsterhunter world / iceborn gave me at all.

Next big negative for me is the difficulty, im around 40 hours rn (fully done with all the story quests while not rushing the story at all) and i didnt die once to the monsters, im sure not everyone has the same amount of experience from world as me, but im also sure there is loads of people that do and feel the same about the difficulty. I just find it so depressing to fight against really cool designed monsters charging their strong attack, you get hit and lose like 60%hp. It takes the epicness of the fights away for me.

Not to ignore the shortness of the game itself, for me finishing the highrank in world felt much longer, and I really enjoyed playing the game, but after less than 40 hours finishing the whole game, leaving me to only be able to grind fully grind for stuff that is quite useless since there is no goal to achive with it.
I will still do it cause the game is fun, but tbh I dont think maxxing out (not including gems) will take more than another 10 hours.

I also have to say, after hitting highrank the game was really lacking on kontent.
Another negative point is that there is not a single fully new wapon to worlds.


All in all I would still recommend the game, I find it very fun and I have high hopes for an upcoming dlc like iceborn.
The performance issue is also not existing for me, people cant expect to have the prettiest games running on a laptop or fully outdated pc.
I play 4k max settings and still have more fps (90 in everage) than on medium setting on cyberpunk (70 on everage).
The game had a lot potential to be perfect but everything after Lowrank which was amazing, just felt too lazy for me.

Ich Persönlich bin großer Fan von mhw und dem großen DLC/ADOn Iceborn, denn ich der das basegame durchgespielt hat und dabei eine schöne Zeit hatte muss sagen, das das iceborn DLC mich noch mehr als das basegame geflasht hat und auch Deutlich schwerer ist, was ich Persönlich echt nice finde. Selbst wenn man nicht das Geld für Iceborn übrig hat sollte man trotzdem in eregung ziehen sich das Base game zu kaufen da es sehr viel kontent mit story ist welche man ebenfalls zusammen spielen kann.
Für mich ist das Base game eine 9/10 und das Iceborn DLC eine ganz klare 10/10
