Welcome to my server's Steam group! I know it's quite small, but please be patient as I only recently set up my server. If you know anyone who would like to play on a server with reverted items (think the old Sandman, Loch n' Load, Flying Guillotine, and even Righteous Bison) then please tell them about this server if you're interested in populating it!

For quite a while I have been yearning to play what TF2 used to be. I've been nostalgic for the old voting system, the old weapons, you know, the way TF2 pubs used to be before the Meet your Match update. While I've come across many other players that expressed the same sort of sentiment, I could never find any community servers that could fill in this niche that weren't only open on specific days. Of course, there were plenty of 24/7 dustbowl and ctf maps out there and quite a few other popular servers, but none of them gave what a lot of the community seemingly longed for.

The goal of Crow's Nest is to fill in this void, this strange absence of servers with this sort of nostalgic play. Remember the old sandman? How it was actually useful, stunning someone helpless? Remember the old Loch n' Load that did 120 damage to players, not just buildings? Remember when you could vote for a map, not just one of three, but any map on the server, or vote for a team scramble? I could've gone on and on about this and complained like a whiny child, but I decided to make this server instead so I didn't have to anymore.
