I know Epic-War.com but there was a another big one? Map-something.org?

Well, theres Hiveworkshop.
If you're thinking Maps and Mods, don't bother. It appears to have been replaced with a site for those World of X games. A shame too, since they had some decent fucking maps.

http://www.wc3c.net/ - A veteran community of custom map makers, I've been around here for years and even though I don't work on maps anymore it's still a great place to browse.
