Lets Play Some Vidya Gaems

There were many great games that came out this year...If you had a WII U or a PC, cause the Xbox and Ps4 got bullcrap as usual. There are still a few games that I own from thsi year that I did not get to play so I might do a top 10 later on. This list does not express the opinions of all the admins of Vidya Gaems Are Fun, but it's my opinion and I own the group so therefore I own the asses of all the admins. But without furthere ado (if you didn't skip this text and go straight to the list) here are my top 5 games of 2014!

#5 The Last Federation

This game is a brilliant stragety game about manipulating alien races into forming a federation so that the galaxy is safe and all that jazz. The great thing about this game is the ways you can influence others. You can supply warships to a race so they can have the best military or you can poison the air of another so that their planet become uninhabitable and there are many many many many more things to do.

#4 Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

This game was released on PC this year so that means I can put it on my list so shuddup. If Totalbiscuit can get away with it then so can I. This game has by far my favourite soundtrack of any game ever and it is the perfect partner to the action packed slicing and dicing that the game is made up of. The combat is great and when you die it is definitely your fault for sucking. Rules of nature.

#3 Tower of Guns

This game is by far my favourite rogue lite. Even though you only use 1 gun per playthrough, the guns are all different and extremely fun. The way you move and the level design perfectly work together to make a fun experience that will grab you and never let go untill you unlocked every weapon and perk.

#2 Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor

When you take my favourite theme in games (fantasy) and my favourite combat system from any games (Batman Arkham series) then you get a game with an instant spot on my top 5 of the year list. Killing countless amounts of orcs has never been so fun...ever! And your huge influence in the world due to the nemesis system makes it so that you can choose the rulers among the orc community and even have you own armies of orcs to fight for you. This game is brilliant.

#1 Wolfenstein

This game is by far my favourite first person shooter of 2014 and has the best gunplay of any FPS that I have even played. Being able to kill hoards of nazi's by duel wielding machine guns, shotties or laser guns is a blast. The game also has a really good stealth system which is just as fun as the normal gunplay. There is nothing as satisfying as stabbing a Nazi in his ear when he never heard you coming. This game is a must own for any person who enjoys single player FPS games.
