My ideas and another buddy's ideas for Subnautica
my buddies ideas:





Add player character ‘s signs of fatigue and sickness(And other 10 suggestions)
I support this game and I am fond of this game. I have some comments for your team. I hope you can take my advice.
I have spent 28hours playing Subnautica in ultimate model without using any auxiliary device. I has died six times. However, I have all kinds of abundant resources now. Especially food and water. I feel like I'm on vacation, not living. I think the Unknown World team should increase the difficulty of the game. Subnautica not only increase the diversity of the game but also increase the difficulty of the game. So that players can have the experience of living when enjoy the beautiful world ”Subnautica”.
1. Add player character ‘s signs of fatigue and sickness.( Player needs to find some special plants to produce drugs to treat themselves which can only slow the disease instead of curing completely [Difficulty: Hard] Player also can injection DNA from some aquatic organisms to enhance immunity. Various aquatic organisms DNA corresponding to different diseases immune [Difficulty: very hard]this method can cure disease completely).
2. Increase the interaction between human beings and aquatic organisms . Add the interaction of different kinds of aquatic organisms . I hope that the Unknown World team will continue to increase the kind of biology.(For example, Crash fish and a plant I call it bud coral. They have typical symbiotic relationship . Bud coral offer the habitat for Crash fish . Crash fish provide protection for bud coral[You get it~]. I think the Unknown World team can add a plant ‘Lure’ and an animal ‘Sabre Fish’. The ‘Lure’ plant is similar to “Nepenthes” but it is eat plankton. The ‘Sabre Fish’ is a carnivorous fish. There is a species of coral near the ‘Lure’ which can make some drug to disease. When you get close to the ‘Lure’, the ‘Lure’ will release a body fluid that appeals to the ‘Sabre Fish’ and makes you act slowly. Player had better not to attack the ‘Lure’ because the ‘Lure’ is fragile. It will easily broke and releases a large number of body fluids which appeals to a numerous predatory ferocious fish. Thus, ‘Lure’ provides food for ‘Sabre Fish’ and the ‘Sabre Fish’ provides a safe living environment for ‘Lure’. I would submit more distinctive aquatic organisms to the Unknown World team.
3.The Unknown World team should reduce the distribution density of resources. It will be better that a square kilometer of the seabed surface has only 50 piece of titanium. (More titanium is under the seabed and player needs a drilling rig to discovery.)
4.Increase the number of dangerous aquatic animals. (The more scarce resource, the more dangerous place to distribute)
5. Increase multiplayer online mode (Necessary)
6. Add the map of Aurora starboard later.
7.several important resources (which can be used to produce a large device for sending out distress signals)
8.Increase a plot about a small spacecraft " Supernova " . (If the player finishes NO.7, player has collected all the materials to produced to send a signal by using the high-power device. After the activation of the signal device, player will receive massage about" Supernova " that is coming to the rescue. When" Supernova "prepares to land, it receives attack from unknown biology and Sink into the unknown waters.
9. Add a AI character “Sophia”.(After player finishes NO.8, player can activate NO.9 . Sophia escapes from the "aura" luckily. “Sophia” is living in the temporary refuge on the unknown waters and “Sophia” sent out a signal to cry for help .But the signal is too weak. Partly hidden and partly visible. It is hard to discovery where is “Sophia”.)
10.The Confused Choice(Player can choose to save “Sophia” or not save her. Because saving “Sophia” is not an easy thing. To “Sophia” s refuge, player must pass the waters where exists a large carnivorous animal and dangerous aquatic plants . “Sophia” is located in the area surrounded by other extremely dangerous waters.
11.Cooperate with “Sophia” (After player finishes NO.10, player meets “Sophia” and player can choose whether to take “Sophia” to leave her temporary refuge.

Finally, I would like to say that I am a Sophomore student and I major in programming. I am deeply understand a large program of production needs a lot of time and energy. Not to mention a game about underwater survival. I understand the difficulties you have encountered in the development of the test version .I hope the Unknown World team can take my advice. Thank you for bringing me the Subnautica . Thank you!!!!









My Ideas: You could get fish DNA and genetically modify your preformance, If you get Reefback DNA then it increases your health, or a peeper, since they are specialized in running away, makes swimming faster, and many other ideas that could be implimented into Subnautica. Also, walls. you can place walls on the ocean floor so you can block of a certain area without foundations to keep the wildlife around your base more beutiful! Hope you enjoyed my buddies and i's ideas, keep up the good work Unknown Worlds!
