question about buying cards
not sure if this is the right place to ask this. i tried looking at steam support but it doesn't mention anything about my problem so i thought i'd post here. i'm trying to buy cards and have been able to in the past, but recently i've been unable to buy cards from any series now, and i have no idea why. my account is in good standing and nothing has changed. i get this message:

"additional confirmation required. for your account security, some purchases must be confirmed via your email." but when i confirm the email, nothing happens. my steam wallet amount stays the same, i don't get the cards, and then if i try to go and buy the cards again, i get the same notification and repeat it all over again

has anyone else had this problem and how can i fix this ?

Might be that email confirmation is bugged. It works if you're using Steamguard on your phone.

i tried on the app and now it's changed the message to "some purchases must be confirmed via your steam mobile authenticator" and it keeps spamming the notification when i confirm the action. weird. i guess i just can't buy trading cards anymore

This is a procedural error on your part. When you close the page itself. You actually cancel your transaction. Keep the page open, and open the email. Follow the steps, and the sale will finalize. When you hit that X you are exiting out of the transaction. Don't do that.

Same error, i do all of the confirmation don't close any pages, but can't buy any cards. Another new idiot in Valve, who doesn't use Steam, got to "update" Steam.
