ABOUT Stabby's Workshop

Stabby's Workshop

Here...welcome! Sit by the fire while I tell you a tale. I am Stabby. There are many Johns and there are many Bobs and there are many Bills but...I am Stabby.

I make skins. Mainly for Rust. This is my skin showcase, if you will. Skinhalla! I'll also be having giveaways for any skins I get published and other...err..stuff...including pictures of Madroce's mom.

Come. Make yourself comfortable. Drink the nectar from my bosom. I have stories to tell.

Hi all. I am just learning how to create rust skins and I've had a question and I have searched and cannot find an answer anywhere. I am wanting to create a metal face mask skin and i want to change the shape of the mask (like the punishment skin) but i cannot figure out how as you can only upload textures. If anyone has an answer, whether or not its possible for me, it would be much appreciated.

Oh hey guys, Answering 045 first, lol, no Xtab isn't dead. He just moved on to other stuff. As for Voitura's question, there are some screwy UVs in the game but I never do anything special to work around it. I know some guys use things like Zbrush and make HUGE 1 zillion poly meshes and then make them low poly for Rust and that seems to look nice, but no one can actually "edit" a UV in any meaningful way beyond alpha adjustments and the like. Try working in really high-resolution while in substance and then export as the default resolution as that does make things cleaner overall.

Hello
so im in this rust workshop discord server which is almost dead and me and some other guy are experiencing the same issue where the UVs of some OBJs are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up for example AK47 so everytime i try to make one of those in substance painter the skin looks terrible in rust. I am wondering how u guys make such epic skins and manage to still have the detail and same color in rust as in substance someone pls tell me how to do it.

Hey! I love your Skins! But uhm can you do a thing for the Urban Ice Hoodie and Pants? Its in need of Matching Metal face mask/ Kilt and Metal Chestplate. Most people think the origenal creator passed away - xtab = would be nice to see his set finished
