Q - I have been scammed, how do I report it?
A - Rep.TF does NOT handle scam reports.
If the scam happened in a trade server please seek an Admin for that specific trade community. If it happened while using Outpost or Backpack or some similar website, please see their support forums for reporting a scam. Lastly you can always visit SteamRep forums for support and to report a scam.

Q - Where are you getting all this data from?
A - The data is already publicly available from each community. We are simply putting it in one place for your convenience. Additionally this helps communities easily share who is banned by who and for what reason.

Q - Can Rep.TF change this data?
A - No, each community manages their respective ban database. Each community is independent.

Q - Some players have bans for racism or trolling?
A - Not all bans involve unethical trading or scam activity. Some communities ban for behavioral reasons. It is up to you to determine if you wish to trade with players who are banned for behavioral reasons. We are not here to tell you who to trade with and who not to trade with, we are giving you information on a player you search. We want you to make your own decision on what to do with the information you find.

Q - I am banned or marked as a scammer, how do I appeal this?
A - Find the community source of the ban or scammer tag. Each community will have their own resource, in the form of a Steam group, forum or website. There you will find the rules and guidelines to appeal.

Q - How can I get my TF2 community or trade server ban database included in the Rep.TF search?
A - Please refer to this Community Request sub-forum.
