API?
I'd love the ability to call your site programmatically, would make making Steam-related sites a lot easier.

What would be the exact use? Are you talking about sites using Steam Login, and if the player has a ban on Rep.TF you can limit the use of your site?

Also it should be noted that a good portion of the bans are not trade or scammer related, they are behavioral related. We do not separate or label what is what, we only share the existing data already out there. API support was never in our plans. We do not have a central database holding all this info.

Some sort of API could be very handy indeed. You already have a json API so if you added the caching part, it could be probably made completely public?

Thanks for the inquiry and sorry for such a late response. One of the primary goals was to make a simple tool for traders to quickly search. Keep it simple and maintenance free. API support is not nor was it ever in our plans, if this ever changes it will be announced here.
