We are here while there are no CS:GO zombie escape community servers operating in Australia. We are here to solve your zombie-smashing and escaping without high ping. And we are here to get you, OCE players, together.

Server upgrade: The hardware has landed!

Great news! The heart of our new server has finally arrived after a long 1.5-month journey by sea. The upgrade is officially moving to the next phase!

As many of you know, we've been planning this for a while. After waiting and seeing that the latest-gen hardware offered by OVH (like the Ryzen 9950X) wasn't coming to Australian datacenters anytime soon, we took matters into our own hands with a colocation plan. This is a huge step for our community!

🏆 CONFIRMED NEW SERVER SPECS (From 1st Oct 2025):
  • Location: Sydney, Australia
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X (The latest and greatest for CS2's heavy CPU needs!)
  • RAM: 64GB DDR5
  • Storage: 2TB NVMe SSD (No more worrying about map space! 📂)
  • Network: 1Gbps Port with 10TB Data Transfer (Easily upgradable if needed)
  • DDoS Protection: Yes, we'll be covered.
💸 BIG NEWS ON COST:
This move is a massive win for the community's long-term health. By owning our hardware, we've slashed the ongoing operational cost.
  • New Colocation Cost: AU$180/month
  • Vs. Renting a 9950X: AU$500/month (We're saving over $320 every month! 🎉)
These savings ensure we can provide a top-tier server experience for a long time to come.

⏰ What's Next & Downtime:
The new server will go live October 1st, 2025. We still anticipate some downtime during the migration process as we physically install the server and transfer everything over. We'll give you plenty of warning as we get closer to the date.
