So I'm just wondering, are there any servers up at the moment that run this mod? I cannot seem to find any currently.

We have started to do some work again, not sure yet where it leads. We have 1 active eu server atm called Goðar NS Classic. Dragon has been working on some fixes to the movement, there have been some issues after all the patches.

I hope you guys are still hard at work. I'd love to relive the old days with my fellow NS1 bros.

We will be releasing the next patch after 1.0 with huge improvements to movement.

Development still happening here? Soon I'll have bulk freetime, I'd love to playtest this at every opportunity. <3

Also, as tough as it will be, getting current NS1 players to switch to this will be a tough sell, but that would be a great help. The mod is still a work in progress, so what it needs most is active players evaluating and playing it and giving feedback. If you know of an active NS1 server / community, get them involved.

If you want this to grow and thrive, promote it to everyone you can. Many people who played NS1 are probably not even aware this exists. Since NS2 itself has a relatively small player count, getting this mod exposure will be difficult. Dig through your friends lists and message people you know from NS1 and get the word out.

This is so far much better than vanilla NS2, the only issue is it needs more players, damned filter.

So far from what I have played, this mod is better than the actual NS2 game.

It will grow in time, it always takes awhile before players get used to new mods.

When is the best time to play NS2: Classic. It seems everytime I check, the servers are empty :(
