You've doubtless seen a Youtube video taken down for violation of copyright. Still others have the advertising revenue taken away from the person who created them. Generally a video is found infringing until proven innocent. Unfortunately, many content creators lack the resources to fight these issues. Combined with a three strike policy for an entire channel, it has led to several channels being entirely shut down over critique or using publicly available trailer footage.
