Whats with all the simps all over gaming, hell the internet in general

Not naming names or saying anyone specific, if you take offense to this thread then you know who you are. But What I mean is I notice there's a lot of people online who post one sentence, hell sometimes 1 word simp ♥♥♥♥ constantly. Have no opinion, drench their profiles in weeb emos, and don't say ♥♥♥♥ besides derr (insert some stupid ass popular internet keywords). Its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sad, I'd like to discuss something that matters online or have a heated debate on something. But with the current internet communities its just simp ♥♥♥♥, constantly. I'm just wondering what kinda brains these people have and why they even post one sentence mind numbing ♥♥♥♥ in the first place?

Like when I see people on reddit or quora posting bs, lotta the time they bring nothing to a discussion and just post some one sentence garbage that either made no sense... Or was just an agenda peppy the frog style code word. I mean is humanity getting dumber?

I don't think Steam would be the right place to look at to have any meaningful conversations, any decent people stay away from community as it is full of degens who look for other degens.

Also yes, people are getting dumber over time.

Kids are addicted to watching tiktoks all day with skibidi videos and instead of reading a book or two, in a few years all they end up doing is flipping burgers and getting screamed at by a green/blue haired transgender Karen who wants the manager for not getting their xe/xem pronouns right.

Yea I tried to read LOTR's. Loved the hobbit. But it got real tedious at the two towers. Oddly enough the films also got dull af towards the two towers. How long can you play horn music and watch ladders setup in the dark?

Return of the king was awesome tho, maybe I shoulda kept reading.

I kind of agree, it is pretty strange. I think a lot of it comes down to the social conditioning of norms. Most users don’t really care about how their phone or computer works, which is understandable, but it also means they don’t put much thought into how they interact online. It’s pretty sad that we’ve reached a point where it’s hard to tell bots from real people, not because bots are extremely good but because we act in such predictable ways.

The thing is, I catch myself behaving like that too time to time. T-T Perhaps the time has come to touch some grass
