Yes, it is. The bot will never try to scam you nor ask for any of your account details, all trades are done through Steam's official trading system allowing you to check the contents of every trade offer before you commit.

The rates can change at any time, we like to keep an even balance between buying and selling, if one becomes too much then we adjust the rates accordingly, we also try to offer the best rates, therefore rates may be adjusted to keep up or ahead of the competition.

First and foremost, never create your own trade with the bot.
You must only use the available chat commands with the bot and let the bot create the trade for you, this is the safest and only way the bot will trade with you, if you are unsure then I advise you to checkout the bot profile/group and quick guide before doing anything or drop a message in the support section if you are still having problems.

If you do decide to create your own trade then this is what will happen:
- If you send items/keys/sets to the bot then it will think you are sending a gift and accept them as a donation (of course donations are always welcome) but it won't give you anything in return.
- If you send items/keys/sets to the bot and add items/keys/sets from the bot to the trade, then the trade will be declined by the bot even if it's the correct rates etc. This is for safety reasons.

*Refunds are only given if you accidentally send items as a donation, please drop a message in support if this happens and everything will be checked out and refunded as soon as possible.

This just means someone has purchased some of the sets that was in your trade, so the bot can no longer offer you the same trade. All you need to do is run "!check" again and start a fresh trade with the bot.
This tends to happen on big trades because you want so many sets at once and the process takes a little longer, there is no way to avoid it which can be annoying but an alternative would be to do several smaller trades instead of one big trade.

This usually happens when you have multiple stacks of gems, the bot can only detect one stack, so if you combine all your gems into one big stack then the bot should detect them all and show the correct amount, then providing you have enough gems in total you can trade with the bot.

Nope. The bot will never send you sets for badges you have already fully completed to level 5, unless you use specific commands to override this, which I would not advise.

**Just be aware that if you buy sets from the bot, make sure to craft them first before you buy more or the bot may give you more of the same sets, because it doesn't count the cards you have it counts which badges you have crafted and what level they are.

Yep. As long as you have all the trading cards for that specific game badge, you can craft it. You don't have to own the game to craft its badge.
