"Some games run with elevated permissions and Windows prevents remote input from affecting them, as a security measure."
So im thinking thats why. I believe I read somewhere on reddit that you can try moving steam and its games to a file location where the computer won't ask for permissions. I personally haven't tried this though.
Do you think I run steam as admin on my pc first would make this problem go away? Im on vacation now so I cant test if it work :(
so I did a couple of things and have no Idea which one worked but
On both the steaming PC and the PC receiving the stream I updated steam to the beta branch.
I made sure the PC that is streaming the game (the host PC) also has a keyboard and mouse plugged in.
I ran both steams on both PCs as Admin.
After doing that I am now able to play with both keyboard, mouse and a controller. (didnt need a controller plugged into the host)
so hopefully that fixes it for you as well.
I think this could really help me, and I also think its the admin part that work cuz I got both pc on and it didnt work. Thanks a lot!
