Remote Play Issues - 11/13/2025
Is anyone else having an issue with remote play not recognizing their mouse/keyboard inputs? I've also noticed now that I can't even unpair devices in the remote play settings... It's as if anything related to remote play was just functionally destroyed except for actually connecting to the host PC.

Edit: Also noticing in the Remote Play options, the Host PC can see the client as "Status - Available", but the client only sees "Connect". Pressing connect also does nothing on the client. Disabling and Re-enabling the remote play toggle will also make all remote play games unavailable on the client until a steam client restart.

Workaround for me is to use the non-beta steam client on the remote side, just checked that and this seems to work.
edit: with remote side i mean the client where i want to control it from.

If Steam Remote Play isn't recognizing guest's Keyboard & Mouse on Windows Host, that's due to use of NVIDIA on a host. Swapping NVIDIA with Intel or AMD as a GPU is a solution for now on.

Yes, I know it's bad because it's a waste of money. So I'm in a same issue like you got.

Secondly, I have a similar issue like you said like that.

.....I think you're describing a different issue. Also, exactly what brought you to the conclusion nvidia is to blame for that?

Just tested the latest beta steam client at the remote side and it seems to be working again without issues. :summersun:
