when using remote play on the steam deck, audio does not pass through from my host computer to the deck. ive tested on two computers and on both computers i ensured all audio devices were transmitting audio to the steam streaming speakers which were set to default. nothing changes. i toggle play audio on host, nothing changes. both computers used for testing work just fine audio-wise in steam link apps on other devices, as well as to steam link hardware box from 2015.

every single feasible thing i could think of, i have tried at this point. both hosts and the client (the steam deck) on stable branch and beta branch, nothing. it *has* to be an issue with the deck because, again, my host machines work with literally any and every other incarnation of steam link/remote play. and they USED to work with the deck, but now it is mysteriously busted.

what is even stranger is, if i try to stream my deck to either of the computers, it refuses to transmit audio to those computers and instead resumes playing audio through its own speakers. trying to change the audio source in the deck's settings did nothing. and every combination of remote play settings, including defaults for hosts and client has also failed.
