Unity game no longer supporting remote play
I'm currently developing a game in unity using the new input system. The game has had a public demo for over a year and in that entire time remote play has worked perfectly.

I noticed yesterday that remote play is no longer able to recognize when a controller is connected in game by the non streamer. They can still hold the back button to access the remote play menu but in game no input is registered.

As far as I am aware I haven't changed anything in the game that would cause this too break. The game plays perfectly with local multiplayer. I have even reverted back to older builds in steamworks where input was being registered by other players connected to the stream and now they no longer work.

Like I said my game is made in unity using the new input system. Have there been any recent changes to the way that remote play works that would cause this to break all of a sudden? I really don't want to have to see if switching to a different input system will solve the problem

Hello,
Same problem here. Kinda critical to our game.
Couldn't find a fix for now. I tried changing Steam Input properties with no success.
How can we find out if steam is trying to solve the problem??

The last update of Steam is fixing the bug, fortunately.
I don't know the exact version but using the beta client solved it. I hope it is now deployed.
