My Blackflag guide could be a little longer due to the Multiplayer Achievements, but I will get that done.
I will do a more "formal" update announcement catching up with all of you just before or on Christmas; I have a lot of epic guides planned for 2026!
In short, yes. RDR sooner than later, but I can't say on when RDR2 will get done.
For the guide, like most of the other games with online Achievements, the Comments Section will make it easier to link up with other players.
I am in the process of slowly editing the guide/making my Collectibles Maps, & probably will release it before I 100% it for myself since I am not consistent playing with my friend. But only if I am confident what I have written for the Coop parts makes sense. Which shouldn't be an issue since I have already beaten the game through to completion already solo.
There is also an achievement for completing the game 2 times as Jill and 2 times as Chris so only that counts per completed game.
Hoping to start Blasphemous 2 later this week!
But I plan to give it the exact same treatment I did with the first game, Maps & all, so it should be a banger guide when I get it done. Never played the Mea Culpa DLC yet & I am really looking forward to the new Bosses it added.
Arkham Knight was my most asked for guide which I finally got done, & Blasphemous 2 is a close second. So I really want to have it finished this year!
It is the Requiem For A Killer Achievement. You need to earn 1,050,000 Points in a Combat Challenge to spawn a secret boss to defeat; 1 million Points is absolutely absurd when you have done good if you earn 60K in a good challenge. On my best run I got to 950K & spoofed it right at the end, which made me so mad. I can do it, but I just need that lucky run.
The big thing I can say, is trying to change up gameplay in games. If you end playing a lot of similar games back to back, you'll probably stop playing newer ones of the same type sooner adding to the backlog. You burn yourself out basically. Sometimes I can sit down & 100% a game without switching, but other times I like having 2 to 3 "active projects" so I can switch things up if I need to.
I have never played it before, & I plan to do my best to play it in my "off time" doing a blind run & not writing my guide for it until I have beaten it so I can properly enjoy the game spoiler free. Once that playthrough (or two) is out of the way, I will begin writing a guide for it. Unfortunately, since I have a lot of other stuff to work on & I need to do that blind run, I can't speculate on when I will start the guide or when it will be released. But I do plan on starting the guide sometime this winter most likely.
Speaking of 150+ Achievements though, I've never played them (but own them), but I do want to get into Killing Floor. It would be a good "chip away" guide for me. I just don't have the room to work on it yet. They seem like pretty fun games though.
As for my next games to play it will be Killing Floor 1 and 2 then the modern Hitman 2 and 3 games. I think Killing Floor 1 without cheesing the achievements is gonna be challenging but it should prove fun.
Then it is just the DLC Episodes which should be very easy & fun. After that it will be the AR Challenge slog.
Currently, it will be a two Part guide I think; the first playthrough will be covered in Part 1 as it is sitting at 130 pages which translates to around 36-40 Sequences long at the moment. Ideally I can fit everything else into another 30-35 Sequence Part 2, but depending on how arduous covering the AR Challenges will be, that might have to be its own separate Part 3.
Thanks for everyone's patience on this one, I know those who have been asking for it have been waiting for over a year now.
Looking forward to working on Left4Dead 2 as it is essentially the same game but with more content & it has the Steam Workshop enabled too. Rayman's Mutation Mod makes a lot of the harder Achievements like the Expert Campaigns & Gold Survival a lot easier to do.
