Just wanted to give you all a heads up.
Ill be on cleaning duty starting today.
Youll find me busying myself scrubbing away any content that is not welcome in the group and in some cases seeing people find their way out.
A few hard things that will see content you post disappear and your abilities to post in the group removed:
Advertising: That includes things like leveling services, trading, promoting games (on a professional level, nothing against a fan that wants to talk about his favorite game)
Also included are user names/profile pictures that advertise leveling/tranding services and such.

Spam: this of course includes advertisments but also spamming of memes or posting the same statements all over the place.

Endorsement of criminal behavior: calling for people being hurt/killed and similiar things, depending on the case such things will also be reported to the authorities.
Those should hopefully be clear and easy to understand rules.

EDIT: I thought this being a no-brainer but: Profiles with Pictures containing nudity or other pictures that may not be approtiate for the group will also be shown a quick way out of the group.

For the soft rules:
Be civil in your discussion. This does NOT mean you cannot criticise or have a discussion with varied standpoints. But be civil and constructive about it.

Also abstain from sweeping "charged" statements such as racism, sexism... (and yes, that includes explicity both sides of fence, left and right) and before your cry SJWs: no, not every critique against certain groups our social movements will be viewed as racism or sexism. There are extremists on both sides of the fence and their actions can and must be subject to scrutiny and critique.

If you cant argue your case without reaching into the bottom drawer vocabulary or toss any form of social behavior over board, better keep your fingers off the keyboard.

Depending on the case I will either issue a warning to return to a civil tone or start mopping up right away. Especially if you try to use free speech as an shield for your anti-social or similiar behavior, trying to start such discussions will find them terminated.

I deliberately abstain from giving any hard rules for this case, as any list or similiar things will never be exhaustive.You wont find me going down and dirty in any discussion. I am here for clean-up only.

This groups provides you a soap box to stand on, but if you feel you cant adhere to these terms to get on it you are free to set up your own group and preach to the people.
