So you wanna work for our servers...

If you are interested in becoming staff for our servers, here are the expectations and requirements, as well as the basic application process. Only serious, complete applications will be considered.


We expect you to become a regular player first and foremost so that existing admins can gauge your potential. Play the game in a team-play manner and we will notice.

As a potential Moderator, you’ll be considered based on your ability to exemplify team-play and communicate with your team. You should demonstrate a willingness to prime and to help balance teams. When possible, avoid team-stacking and obvious, lopsided wins. Admins are in leadership roles to help keep the gameplay smooth, balanced, and fun for everyone on the server.


Consider this to be a real-world job application—because it is. Approach it professionally. We’re not looking for people who would abuse their admin powers and actually cause us more work. In fact, doing so would get you promptly removed and possibly banned.

Also realize that your application is not based on your time on the server, skill level, rankings, clan association, who you know, or proficiency with any particular class(es). The bottom line is that your application depends on both your leadership qualities and your decision-making abilities.

Other requirements include:

• Understanding of the rules
  
• A valid email address to contact you
  
• Mic is required
  
• Must be friends with Admin Staff
  
• Must be age 15 or older
  
• Must not be an "F2P" (aka a Free-to-Play)
  
• Must have at least 500 hours clocked into Team Fortress 2
  
• Must not be marked on Steam Rep or have a questionable history
  
• Must have Steam Mobile Authenticator active
  
• Must subscribe to Admin Forums once you are hired and promoted on the Steam group

You’ll also need to provide some compelling reasons to join the admin team. In addition to the above info, include answers to each of the following items in your application:

• A brief bio. Not your life story, but a little background info is good.
  
• Why you’re interested in becoming an admin.
  
• What traits make a good admin, especially for TF2.
  
• Why you think you’d be a good admin.
  
• Once everything is properly submitted, your application will go through a series of votes to determine if you are a viable candidate for an admin position.

Direct any additional questions you may have that aren’t addressed here to an Admin.

TAKE NOTE: While we're not always looking for staff, we're always open to receiving new applications! Just because we don't respond to you right away, doesn't mean we didn't get your application. Do not send multiple applications. You can, however, send in a new application a few months after your last one if you feel that you should improve it.
