I'm here to talk about my first visual novel, Univocity.

Max, a former engineer who turned fugitive, is headed to the top of tallest tower of Univocity—an urban sprawl owned by Ōṁ, a global tech monopoly—to set off an electromagnetic pulse bomb that will plunge the city into a technological dark age. But their plans are disrupted when they encounter Nina, an Ōṁ employee, which sparks a conversation that makes them question their motives.

• Around 30 minutes of interactive gameplay.
  
• Deep immersive atmospheric soundtrack by artists such as Patricia Taxxon, Neurotech and NeuroAxis.
  
• A self-contained sci-fi story that hints at a larger universe, with themes resonating with currents events.
  
• Tries to find a sweet spot between dystopia and hope.
  
• Branching narratives
  
• Different endings.
  
• Unique backgrounds that use a blend of pixel art and algorithmic art (no AI-generated stuff !)
  
• Realistic interactions between characters, based around dilemmas and responsibilities, as well as a tinge of attraction.

I really enjoyed creating it, as it was a creative outlet for many things I love to do: writing, programming, graphic design, audio editing, etc.
I've done it all by myself, except for the soundtrack which is made by amazing musicians, and the base character design, that I built upon to make my own.
