Supergailey if you receive "The archive is either in unknown format or is damaged" update your WinRAR to the latest version. It will help your problem.

Strange. It usually works.
Try to get someone else to extract the file then upload it to Dropbox so you can copy it and paste it to your half life directory.

If extracting doesn't work, then open the rar file and copy everything. Then paste it to the Half-Life directory.

@Seale just drag the vect0r folder to your Steam/Steamapps/common/Half-Life folder

and re-start Steam.
