Bonjour, depuis un moment mon TrackIR5 ne voit plus mon TrackClip. Le matériel et l'application (5.5.3) sont bien reconnue par le PC, (Windows 11) mais seul la lumière verte de droite s'allume lorsque supporté par un jeu. La lumière verte de gauche reste éteinte et le TrackClip n'apparait pas dans la fenêtre caméra de l'application. J'ai désinstallé/réinstallé, rien n'y fait. Merci pour votre aide.

How long does it take for Natural Point to add a game that has already been submitted to them? Speaking specifically about Arma Reforger / Experimental. BI says they have taken the necessary steps and just waiting on Natural Point.

I'm having problems with my new IR 5 working in American Truck Simulator. Same with the IR 4 I've been using with the IR 5's software for several years. If I look left, it tracks right. Look right and it tracks left. Look or down and it's all moves all over the place like you're having a seizure.
Has anyone run into this problem. Is it the tracker software, ATS because of one of their game updates. I believe it could be from 1.47, or me not setting it up correctly. I've never had a problem like this before. Just load the software and it ran perfectly. Also, in Options/Controls the Tobii tracking system is showing instead if Natural Point at the bottom of the page. That has never happened before either.

@fgrand4593 try using available usb 2.0 port or 1.1 if you have them, check if it works, on very rare occasions the drivers may have problems with usb 3.0

@BelugaTF Did you first start up your TrackIR5 Client and only after that the game? Other than that, make sure you have the latest updates on the trackIR5 Client along with the game title updates.

Hello, I wanted to ask if anyone uses TrackIR 5 motion head together with his dynamic platform.
I simulate with a 3DOF motion system (ProSimu) and a SimTools v2.0 Professional License.
The movements are always perfect in various games simulator but yesterday, after buying and installing the TrackIR 5 hardware and software, using various driving games I noticed that the movement of the 3 actuators no longer responded as before!
The movements of the 3DOF were slow and out of time and synchronous, while the movement of my head (and the corresponding movement inside the various cars) was right.
So I decided to uninstall TrackIR 5 (hardware and software) and my 3DOF motion system is back to normal, with all the movements that perform exactly the roughness of the ground and the stresses of the cars.
If someone has encountered these same problems, how did he solve it?

Yes, I have determined that this is a software issue on (https://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/trackir5/) their part and a lot of people are still having issues with this. "Natural Point" Just needs to man up and fix this issue. I have seen lots of people post forums about this and the company isn't even looking at it! This makes it a fact that they don't care about customer service, and if they do, they really suck at it. I love the product and the company, don't get me wrong. People need a confirmation from them, that this is a problem and they will 'try' and 'fix it' in a meaningful manner and a displayed time frame.

@Booker, so did your Secondary TrackIR 5 Pro Work on the setup you had problems with your first unit?

You can get either-or. I would personally get the TrackIR 5 Pro Bundle. You won't regret it. If you get the standard one, you can-will-need a hat to put the sensors on and it's really shady.

Get the Pro: I know it's a little extra money, but like I said, you won't regret it.

Correct, I have done all of the above. I contacted "[email protected]" and they had no solution for me. You guys had more solutions then the actual Dev Team and Support Team combined.

My TrackIR 5 Pro is not hot/warm in any way. Hardware and Software is not the issue. I have a Workstation here at home that has the TrackIR 5 Pro on it, and works flawless, and the PC that I am currently on is only 3-5 months old. What I am going to do is buy a new TrackIR 5 Pro and see if it's the actual Hardware from TrackIR themselves. I'll let you all know what happens when I get it this week.

So you've done these at least: Uninstalled program, deleted folder from appdata, disabled triple buffering, And undoubtly you have the latest updates in your Strix 1080, hardware failure could be one reason. Does your TrackIR 5 module itself feel hot to touch? in normal circumstances it will feel warm to touch, but not exceedingly.

@TENGILL, I did the exact same thing, and it did work for awhile. It now only works if I put it on start-up. If I open it, it will crash!

I found a fix for my problem.
I uninstalled the program, then deleted the NaturalPoint folder in %appdata%, restarted my computer and reinstalld the software.
Now it works again. :)

I am having the same problem as Booker and i have the folder in %appdata%.
I have uninstalled, rebooted and then reinstalled the software, no luck.
It was working fine, then a later the same day it just stop loading.
Anyone have have any tips?

@Booker, Let's see, Check if your %APPDATA% folder contains NaturalPoint folder (Windows flag and type %APPDATA% if you don't find the Natural Point Folder, the installation is possibly corrupt, and preferably use C:\ as the application path. Also consider doing a memtest to check the RAM of your PC isn't the problem.

I got a temp fix. I had to move it from Program Files X86 and %appdata% to another HDD.

@Booker, Does the application crash at launch? Check Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Application > Can you find anything related to the Crash of TrackIR?

TrackIR v5.4.2.27545 not responding, Disabled Triple Buffering, does not tell me why, and there is nothing to be found thus far. I had to uninstall 13 times after installing it over and over and restarting the PC countless times before it started to work. I am not running any Applications in the background according to task manager. I then started up my computer the next day and Boom!; problem happens again. I need a fix because I don't know what else to do!

For any of you who gets the same problem, this worked for at least Nvidia, Check community for TrackIR if you guys encounter same problem with AMD.

How about reaching out to the Descent Underground guys as it seriously needs TrackIR support? We also need a way of adding an application to the profile loader. That shouldn't be that hard and it would allow Freepie scripts to have their own profile for games that do not support TrackIR natively. If people see how cool it works maybe the developers would think about adding it. Games that need it are ones like Descent Underground and Everspace and of coarse Star Citizen.

@Ninjamc trackir does have a x64 lib, the arma devs just need to use it

Hello, Arma3 has released a 64 bits executable version of the game. However the trackir can't work with it until the game definition are updated on trackir's side (from what I understand for the forums discutions I've read) Could we get an ETA about that? thanks

I upgraded to Windows 10 Redstone,
Since the track ir5 not getting to work.
Windows 7, in Windows 10 to work well,
It seems the problem is compatibility.
The driver update is required for Windows 10 Redstone.

Is there an SDK that I can use for WPF applications in VS2015? I asked for getting access to teh SDK but never got a reply. ("Email us at [email protected] to request a copy of the TrackIR Enhanced SDK.") Is it free for private use?
