achievement resets would be great since sometimes playing old games again and doing the achievement challenges again is awesome.

One of the best ideas coming out of Steam Labs! The recommendations surprisingly match my taste very well. I'm also glad that now there are more than only 12 recommendations as during the experiment phase. In addition the recommendations now seem to to change slightly over time. I really like it. Keep on the good work, Valve!

will not happen.
and ask the game dev, they have to provide that option, not Steam.

But if Steam themselves provides this option then it will be available globally. I for example don't imagine contacting over 400 developers myself just to have my achievements and playtime reset.

playtime reset will not happen, at all, irrelevant who you contact.
and yes, if you want achievement reset, contact every game dev. that function can not happen on Steam as it WILL break stuff. it HAS TO BE done by the game itself with the developer knowing what happens.
