32-bit Games Cause Steam to Crash

I've noticed an issue with 32-bit games, such as The Witcher: Enhanced Edition. When I try to launch a game, Steam closes unexpectedly. Many people have been reporting this issue since yesterday. Could it be related to your recent update?
PS. I can't launch any 32-bit games. Trying to do so causes Steam to close.

Dungeon Defenders runs on the old 32-bit when it does have a 64-bit option (I still run 32-bit cause cutscenes still work) and I've never had a crash to steam. Other games I have that are on 32-bit such as Borderlands 2 produce the same results of never crashing steam. Could be a bad update. Have you tried making sure you're on latest beta branch update and on tried to see if this also happens on stable?

I was using Steam Beta Update until yesterday. Since disabling it, my games have been launching normally. This must be related to the 64-bit version of the Steam application and 32-bit games, or possibly specific games. Since I only have a few 32-bit games, that's all I tested, and none of them worked. Besides, the Witcher forums are flooded with help posts after the latest update, so there must be something going on.
