It's been broken for quite some time.

It was just broken in the beta but with the last mainline branch update, it broke for everyone.

same , when i click from corrections from rightclick menu it dont apply correction

Yeah, the issue is still not fixed in the latest beta.

its gone from partially broken, to utterly broken... in a month or so.

spell check is completely broken, it doesnt correct spelling at all and cant add words to dictionary, it shows correct words as incorrect (red underline), until you click outside of said text box, then it shows up as spelled correctly.

it wont copy anything emoji wise, you have to remove the : : from around it, to copy said text.

there is no cut function, only copy/paste, which makes for extra hassle, especially when copy/paste doesnt work.

cant copy/paste anything from steam, but.. outside of steam, copy/paste works fine and will add the text to clipboard and paste into steam with no issues.

spell check regularly cant decipher what a word would be, if 1-2 letters are misplaced, wrong, or both, despite 99% of the word being correct.

right click context menu, is horrible to use... i have to shift the mouse pointer around highlighted text on specific spots, to even get the proper context menu option, cause for some reason... almost all the options appear as their own context menu....

paste only seems to work in certain text boxes, if your mouse is positioned at the upper left corner.

i can name off more, but remembering all the little details, is a lot at this point.

TDLR: the right click context menu is utterly broken, spell check doesnt work, copy/paste doesnt work, along with the other context menu options, that all seem to popup as their own menus, instead of a single unified menu.

also to note, scrolling is still broken, as i have reported for over a year, in random cases, the pages will scroll into the nothingness below the chat window header at the bottom, into a empty blue space, it happens on mobile and desktop app (likely website as well).

back arrow causes page loading errors? been happening frequently.

account going offline and stuck offline (clicking show as online does nothing), unless restart and click "show as online".

sometimes account starts up as a question mark and the profile "box" doesnt "lengthen" to show profile name, but after (despite the above issue mentioned right before this one), clicking "show as online" solves the profile "box".

right click context menu for steam icon in right side taskbar, popups first click as "black screen", second click it shows the screen of the context menu properly.

im sure there is others, but since this thread is about the context menu and its functions....

valve please fix the right click context menu, its broken and unusable at this point.

edit: i had to rewrite some stuff here, because i cant copy/paste, to arrange the above so details were less "all over the place".

Wow, you're right: the context menu options "Copy" / "Copy Page URL" don't work.
I didn't even notice.

At least clicking on the URL bar and Ctrl + C both still work.

ah, you remined me, i dislike the URL bar....

im constantly copying that darn thing, when clicking function tabs at the top of the client

the drop down menus disappear way to fast and you end up clicking the URL bar, which copies it and in cases, copying over something, you have copied to clip board.

copy/paste works randomly in public/stable branch, though looks to be, the only thing working at all, in the context menu.

updating back into beta, didnt help, which was my goal of this test, but everything is still broken, none the less.

Please Valve, when will you restore the functionality of the spellcheck context menu?
It's been months!

"Add to dictionary" is still broken; clicking on the context menu doesn't do anything!

I’m glad I’m not the only one!! At first it was fine(like a year ago lol), then you had to like double click or something to get it to work, now it doesn’t work at all.

I really hope they fix this. I’m a fast typer but I often times mix up letters. Luckily on mobile it’s not a problem but on PC it is.
