How do I make a pattern based skin?
So I've already figured out how to make a skin (I'm not here for the obvious steps like designing it and workshop and stuff) But how do I make a skin that has many patterns? You see in a skin like the AK-47 Case Hardened. It has 999 different patterns, But in all of them the grip, The stock, And all the wooden things stay the same pattern, How do I make something like this? I want to make a Marble like AK, With some parts being black, That's easy to do, But how do I make it have different patterns, And how do I set the pattern to weapon ratio, Like for example, I don't want the seams in the marble to look to big or too small, So is there a way to make a certain ratio? Don't know if it's a setting in VTFedit or in the workshop, But is there way to actually do that?

The case hardened texture is just a single tileable image applied at different angles and positions. The areas that dont receive the pattern are non-customisable areas as pre-defined by that finish method (patina).

So If i make something like this, How do I change the paint kit pattern to weapon ratio?

The scale is adjustable in the workbench in the left hand side. To be honest your best bet is to just jump into workbench and have a play with the settings and observing the results. A lot of this work comes down to experimentation, for everything else the answers to many of your questions can be found here:
