As the CSGO versions are incompatible I revisited the previous designs and took the illustrative elements and remade these for CS2. Obviously there will be differences with PBR - i.e. can't go too dark, cant be too saturated.

I've renamed the Purple submission as its no longer indigo but instead a brighter fade gradient from magenta to purple, it also has some blue towards the rear in the linework.

I tried to honour the transition in the copper version which still does go from Orange-brown to Green to represent the oxidisation process, but unfortunately as you can only specific two colours in workbench I don't have as much control over the middle float values, as such its a muted brown around 0.45.

These are remakes of the CSGO versions which are now all incompatible.
'Mythical' is based on the 'Revered' dragon design, but as I made the surface metallic it had to be made brighter and less saturated to validate with the ingame PBR limitations. As such I've renamed it on the premise that I might swing back around and make a non-metallic version more inline with the original at a later date.

It's the same underlying design, on the new weapon model with the PBR texture set.
This time around I've made the stock and handles wooden, re-positioned illustrative elements to accommodate the new mesh, and adjusted the hues in the illustration.

...and once again I've made an international version that features low violence, with the most efficient of changes in order to do so!

I've been more interested in pattern finishes as of late. I spent some time exploring the changes to the Anodised Airbrush application method. The material map is a nice addition in that you can choose specifically where the pattern area appears on the weapon, and apply some rudimentary areas of colour from the Green and Blue Channels. I'd like to be able to control the roughness on both the pattern and non-pattern areas with two separate textures rather than one texture and a slider, but as it stands the shininess is applied uniformly on non-pattern areas making it appear a little washed out due to lack of definition.

Odins Ravens, the seed of this idea began during the Norse Collection. I recycled the idea for the 'birds of war' finish I submitted for CSGO which uses the hammers as beaks.

I’ve been fiddling with this on and off for a few months, but its about ready for feedback now.

Originally I planned for both Beretta's to be very dark like a raven, and to reflect purple hues as it caught the light, but that's no longer possible to do in a metallic form due to the PBR limits preventing anything too dark, so I’ve settled for a brighter and more vibrant aesthetic, using the feather shapes as facets to break up the reflection.
