Welcome to the Elements of Roleplay group!

The idea is that there are six rooms total, each with a theme. Adventure, Daily Life, Horror, Drama, Romance, and the Lobby. The Lobby is to send out announcments and direct people to the other rooms where they RP.
In addition, the rooms are places where people socialize, meet other people they like, and like that particular kind of RP to do it here and with each other.

This is the system for what we will be doing.

People have an idea for an RP, they post it into a thread and keep logs on what is happening in said RP for people who want to join, the leader or DM of this RP gets a silver star, this does nothing but show that they are the leader of an RP, they have no special things they can do, nor can they DM other RPs without that specific RP owner's permission.

Due to the free and user created nature of these groups, the DMs will create the rules specific to that RP, while the groups have broader, more meta rules mostly involving OOC and the like. The Admins will also be called upon to enforce the RP rules when the DM can not.

Some general rules.

1. Keep Swearing to a minimum, use it when it's needed, when it would make sense, we don't need a maelstrom of cursing around, but an "Oh ♥♥♥♥" When you're surrounded by several dozen hostile changelings is fine if it's deserved.
The DM may also choose to not allow any swearing in their RP.

2. Backtalking the mods will be dealt with however the mod feels like it, if you're willing to piss one off, you're willing to accept the punishment they choose.

3. ERP is to be kept in Private chat and the Romance room. Grimdark RP is to be kept in Horror and Private chat. Mixing the two is to be kept in Private chat.

4. Mixing of genres is fine, Romance and Drama go hand in hand, but if the RP gets derailed onto another genre, you should move it to that group.

5. DMs choose who they do and don't want in their groups, don't come crying to the admins about it, unless the admin you're whining to is the DM of the group.

6. Admins should keep all records of any incidents they encounter in case the person wants to take the matter up with another admin.
