For the story, I'd say the original Disgaea: Hour of Darkness.
Can't really decide on any one game for gameplay, but Phantom Brave is in the lead there.

Just picked up Time & Eternity so I am hoping that is sweet as well.

I cant really pic a fav serie or game from NISA.
Played all Atelier Iris, Mana Khemia, Ar Tonelico, Hyperdimension Npetunia... and some more... so I cant really choose one. All are awesome in their own ways.

I'd say The Hyperdimension Npetunia Series, Trinity Universe & Cross Edge.

I bought Disgaea 1 and 2 on PSP, took me forever to get through and then I unlocked the Etna and Axel modes respectfully.

Sadly I can't get 3 and 4, because they're on PS3, but here's hoping for even more console games getting posted to Steam!

Makai Kingdom will always be my favourite, it had the best battle mechanics in my opinion. It's a shame it'll never see a sequel. but Disgaa is the best ongoing series by far ^_^

I'm a big fan of Soul Nomad, personally. That would definitely be my favorite.

Though I'd really like a Prinny, Can I Really be the Hero Dood 3.

omg YES! so loved that too....but i also loved GrimGrimoire very much, not to forget the yomawari seires and rose in the Twilight, impossible to name just one favorte there really....
