1) More active Moderators. This group is one targeted by the cs:go/ DOTA2/ H1Z1/ tf2/ etc. scam gambling site spam as bots. Because... lack of moderators banning those bot accounts and deleting the ads quickly. I know there is a Pinned thread about it. But bots do not read threads, or comments left of their spam threads. They just get assigned to the groups affected and set up to spam post, by humans that create them and enter the website and referral code/link data into the bot program. If Steam Mods delete the threads, they may ir may not be able to ban the bot accountfrom your group. Your Mods can ban them. Yep. A new one will take it's place. But... other groups, some larger Giveaway groups in particular, have been able to slow the number of spam posts being made, and limit the number of potential clicks given to those scam websites by banning bot accounts, and deleting those posts in very quick time. The bot owners are less likely to target your group if their ads aren;t staying up long enough or them to get any clicks from them.
Other than that, the group is good IMHO.
No lie i ban and remove around 4 to 5 posts a day and thats the ones i catch . The others are caught by Valve or other mods .
So we are doing our best and thx for the support !
You guys used to cover free games, but I've noticed most of Epic's recent giveaways (like Thief this week) are completely ignored. I understand the spam issue, but not listing actual free content renders this whole group utterly pointless.
