Lets Begin With the Most Common ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Viruses. Everyone knows about 'em, they're very very not good. HOWEVER: HoxHUD is in NO WAY infected with a virus and (If you practice common Internet safety and NOT click on all the random ads that you may see while downloading HoxHUD) you will not collect one from downloading it. Any warning your computer gives you about HoxHUD harming your computer is unwarrented. Anti-Viruses that flag HoxHUD will delete the "Meat" of HoxHUD. To prevent this, simply provide your Anti-Virus an exception. If your computer warns you, and not your Antivirus, you can simply tell it to retain the file from the same popup your computer provided to warn you. I repeat: HoxHUD is not a virus, it is a false positive .


Common Issues
Many people experience crashing on the beginning of a day in a heist, obviously this can lead to frustration. Just imagine: You're on Day 3 of Rats... day 1 you made 7 bags of meth, day 2 went off without a hitch, you got every last bit of loot concieveable (Including the cash bundle under the gutter drain), but as Day 3 begins... the black screen... turns into your desktop. Payday 2 crashed. MOTHER ♥♥♥♥♥♥ REALLY!? ALL THAT WORK, JUST TO CRASH AND WASTE ALL THAT TIME!!!! I GIVE UP. I'M DONE. ABSOLUTELY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DONE. NO MORE PAYDAY 2. SCREW THIS!
Okay, enough imagination.
Anyway, to fix the beginning-of-a-day crashes, it's very simple. Go to your HoxHUD folder and delete the HoxHUDInitialized.mp3. This fixes almost every instance of start-of-day crashing.

Please remember that HoxHUD now does have an options menu ingame, you no longer need to edit your files for every small thing.


Magical Rainbow Lasers
These are a stream secret. Do not ask for them on the forums, and don't give out information about them lightly. You can go to Twitch.tv and join a stream to learn how to activate them.


Downloading

Glitchy Infoboxes
Use the Keyboard, and not your mouse, to edit the “Number of Infoboxes Per Row” option.

Crashing After Mission End
If you crash after ending a mission on teh exp screen, try turning off the auto-continue on end screen feature in your HoxHUD options.

How to Find Your Crashlog
If you are running Windows 8 or anything later: move your mouse to the upper right so that the sidebar menu opens. You want to click on "Search". Type in the search bar that appears: %LocalAppData%. This will immediately take you to your version of the File Explorer. From there click on "Payday 2". Once in Payday 2, find the notepad document "Crashlog". Do not paste the entire thing, just hte crashes that are pertinent, such as the last two or three. You can verify by date which are the important ones.

If you are running anything earlier than Win8, simply move your mouse to the lower left, click on the Windows button, and type %AppData% into the search bar there. This will take you to the Roaming file and you can continue the process above from there.

HoxHUD is an incomplete mod for Payday 2. We do not garuntee that HoxHUD is compatible with your computer, any other mods, or clients you are using.
