It does mean that you will spend your ingame cash. The Amount you spend will be equal to the amount of money you need to respect your skills :)
Ok, thanks for the quick reply! :)
The latter part is mentioned in the readme supplied with the download, but it's something that I reckon a lot of potential users (myself included) would like to be aware of beforehand, through mention in an OP as this one.
Ofcourse, I'd much prefer it if you'd be so kind as to remove that requirement altogether; which should at the same time take care of the antivirus warnings and hips allowances needed; apart from being packed.
At the very least I'd love to hear what motivates you to keep this part in now that it's been released as an otherwise public version, hence no longer needing to keep the beta testers in the loop and under control.
I thank you for your consideration.
I'm digging the simple ascii art btw. :)
thx alot
The skill profiler, even loading the 'bootup loadout' (which didn't change a single thing since I haven't touched my skills in a while) cost me a ton; I figure an ingame message to that effect is in order.. seeing how there's no comparison being made between each tree branch nor the tree as a whole to see if it even needs to refund&rebuy at all, which was unexpected.
And perhaps the next step for the profiler would be to show, in advance, the total cost of loading a certain build together with an 'are you sure?'; which shouldn't be all that hard to do, since even if you can't get that feedback from the game (reading how much will be refunded), you could still tally all 'skills to refund' purchase cost*.5 +'skills to spec for saved build' purchase cost=price.
